"What is your problem, Bulldog!?" Umnaya looked at Delgato, then us. "Ohhhhhhhhhhh," He smiled widely too, "I understand now."
"Understand what?! Sorry, me and Cowboy over here don't understand!" McKalahan looked to Stetson.
"Hey! Just because I'm from the desert in Texas and have an accent doesn't make me a cowboy! So what, I run around with cowboy shop-mades and a Cady? So what, I allers train horses before I go into a war!" Stetson spit on the sand, his accent got richer. "Y'all are sappy! Give me my scamper juice!" Stetson grabbed his canteen from McKalahan, chugging it. "Oh, I see it now..." Stetson looked to the sand, kicking some up with his boot. The men burst into laughter, all besides me and Bruce yet again.
"English please? Anyways, can someone explain to me why Bulldog and Locomotive are acting like they just got a million dollars and it had a hot chick on it besides a president? I always knew they hallucinated, but not this bad!" McKalahan looked at Delgato and Umnaya, then me and Bruce.
"Ohh!! I was such a Chucklehead! Bulldog, you coot!" Stetson laughed at Delgato, and called him 'Bulldog'. " You could've given me a hint, ya countrified dunderhead!! Y'all are cuter than a fuffy hoss!!" Stetson laughed, which slowly trailed off as he saw everyone look at him in bamboozlement.
"Swatch, any chance you can translate that...?" Umnaya asked Bruce.
"Nope, don't think I know cowboy. And, it comes to my attention... I haven't introduced myself to any of you yet! Well, I'm Master Sergeant Bruce Swatch! Nice to meet y'all!" Bruce laughed.
"Ok then. So, you've already met the guys, not properly though. Delgato, we like to call him 'Bulldog'. He seems harmless, but he packs one heck of a punch. Once a hostile from Chad, Africa attacked Delgato with a spear, Delgato took the tip of it and jabbed him in the neck, I saw the whole thing. Stetson, 'Cowboy'. In the war, he loves to use a six shooter, and ride a horse while using it. We've lost a surprising amount of horses. McKalahan, 'Rocky'. When McKalahan was in Iraq with us a while back, he ran out of ammo. His best idea was to run into the enemy's base and punch their lights out, it somehow worked. Umnaya, myself, also known as 'Locomotive'. When I was in Iraq, after McKalahan's incident, I trucked their General. He said he wanted to have a fist fight. He fell backwards, his head cracking open on the concrete. So, got any nicknames?"
"Mexican idiot!" Florez spoke, me and Bruce gasped.
"Holy crap!! He just spoke English!! Williams, you... We used to have a soldier named Williams... Williams was my best friend, he went to all the wars that I went to. He saved my life once. I was shot many times. He took a bullet for me. Many. Anyways, Williams was epileptic, and we all just found out. He had to be discharged. On his way home on the chopper, he screamed to Florez, calling him a Mexican idiot. He uh... he helped me when one of my family- friends died..." Bruce laughed, pulling me closer and putting his face on my shoulder, I felt a tear drop down Bruce's cheek. I felt his breath against my neck, his chin quivering and shaking. His whole body shook, I hugged him tightly, not caring about the other guys seeing. He whispered something, something about his mom...
"OH!!! I understand now!! Aww!" McKalahan said, everyone gave him a dirty glare. "Sorry..."
"How about you guys go to the cabin? Settle down a little. Wolf, you can come back out when everything is ok...?" Delgato asked, I knew what he was doing. But... maybe I could help Bruce. I'll do anything to help Bruce.
"Sure." I said, standing up and walking to the cabin with Bruce. I shut the door behind me, Bruce walked over to the bed, sitting down and sobbing into his arms while he tried to wipe away the tears. "Bruce..." I walked over to the bed, sitting next to him and pulling him into my chest. Bruce cried into my chest as I held him.
