My eyes slowly opened as I laid on a stretcher, Bruce held me in his arms as he sobbed into my bleeding chest. He held my hand and whispered softly.

"Hi there..." I smiled, he looked at me with worried eyes.

"Malachi!!"

"Bruce...!!" I coughed as I mimicked his worried tone. "Looks like I've been laughing at death too long... It's finally laughing back..."

"No, no, no, don't speak that way." He kissed me awkwardly but I barely noticed.

"I’ve always loved you Bruce, I’ve just been a coward, and never said it..." I laughed slightly as I felt my eyes shut.

"MALACHI!!!" I heard him yell as two men pinned him to the wall to give me space.

Well then. I never really did leave Afghanistan. I stayed along with Moose, Julianna, all my fallen soldiers, and everyone else. And you won't hear any complaints from me now for I am at eternal rest in pure bliss.
