The Girl in the Corner [Todoroki x Reader]

Todoroki PoV ( Yes, you finally get what you wanted, Todo. Weirdly, I am writing this while in Todo cosplay. -w-)

I was walking down the hall, lost in thought. I had seen that girl around once or twice, and now she is in my class. Its been like a month since school started. She stayed pretty low, didn't do too much, but I could tell she was holding back during training, that is, when she's there. Most the time, she is kept inside to do other things. I was planning on talking to her today. She is normally early, so i came earlier so the class would be quiet. I wanted to get to know her, and I wanted to classify my theory, of knowing her. I never heard her name, though.

I walked into class, but she wasn't there. Guess I came a little too early. I just sat in my seat and began to read a book. Time passed, more students entered the room. None were her. Finally, class was to start, but Aizawa-sensei wasn't here, instead it was Present Mic. Everyone was confused. "Hey Kids! So, Mr. Aizawa is going to be out for a while due to reasons I can not share. I do not know when he will return, so lets hope for the best!" He said. Now I know something is wrong. He isn't yelling, and his smile is weak. He seems stressed. This went on for the entire week. No Aizawa, and no girl. On Friday, I decided to get answers. I raised my hand, "Yes Todoroki!" he said, his voice a little strained. "May I speak with you after class?" he nodded, and began our lesson. When the class was done, I stood, and met Present Mic outside the room. 

"What is it you needed to talk about?" he said. 

"Where is Mr.Aizawa?" 

"I am not allowed to say"

"Why?"

"Not really my place to say, i don't even know whats going through his head."

"What do you mean?"

"He is kinda stressed with his current situation."

"But you can't tell me?"

He shook his head,"Is there anything else you wanna know?"

"Do you know where the girl, who sits in the back of class, is? She isn't present today. She is normally really early."

He looked shocked. "Do you know her name?" I shook my head, "I have never properly met her, nor have I heard anyone say her name." He studied me. "Why do you wanna know?" 

"I wanna know her. She is always alone, she is kept in during most training, she smiles alot, but she doesn't talk," I said. "Come with me," the blonde said, as he began to walk somewhere. I followed. Soon, we arrived to the teacher's lounge, and walked in. "Sit, and I'll explain" he said, gesturing to a chair. I sat down, and faced him as he sat opposite of me. "Mr.Aizawa is in the hospital." he said. My eyes widened,"What hap-" I was cut off. "He is there visiting. He wasn't injured. He won't leave their side. He found them, they weren't responsive, so he brought them to the hospital. They're in a coma, but we can't find the source of it. He hasn't left their side since he was allowed to enter the room." I looked at the ground. "Who?" I said. "What?" 

"Who is he visiting?" I was hoping, hoping he wasn't gonna say what I thought. "The girl you were talking about." My heart skipped a beat. "What's her name?" I said, never looking up. 

"Y/n L/n" 

My eyes filled with tears, I fought them, but they won. Hot tears streamed down my faces, as I sobbed. The only person I ever really felt like myself around, my only friend, was sitting in a hospital bed. I didn't recognize her. She was so different. Her hair, her style. What happened. Suddenly memories filled my head.
