The Girl in the Corner [Todoroki x Reader]

||The change||

Something happened. I can't let anyone remember me. I went to the store, with my hood on, I bought black hair dye(sorry if your og hair was black, then change it to white.) I went home, bought some colored contacts online. I also bought some really dark clothes, hopefully they'll be in soon. I went to check the mail. I would be happy, but I am not so sure anymore. I went to my room, and stared at the thing that would once bring me excitement and joy. I opened the letter and played the recording. 

"I got in. Now, to design my costume, get the uniform, and all the boring stuff." I said out loud. 

I drew my costume, and all, and went to bed without eating.

I woke up to my alarm clock. I got up, got dressed, and headed to yoga. I thought it would help me relieve stress, but an annoying girl eyeballing me made me self conscious. Normally I wouldn't mind, but now I do. After yoga, I went to the gym, and trained for about 8 hours.  Afterwards, I went to the park for a run. I saw little kids, playing and smiling. I went home, and got changed, then went straight to bed, but I didn't sleep. I sat in the darkness. letting my mind wander to places to it shouldn't.

When the sun began to rise, I went to the beach and began a simple but efficient workout. When I returned home, I weighed myself. 

108.3 lbs

I need to lose more weight. I went to bed, yet again no sleep. This was a daily routine, everyday for a month. I decided to check my weight the second time this month. 

78 lbs

Good, my routine is working. I soon noticed I was gaining acne, so I ordered special skincare routine products. They soon began to work. 

(rushed part but who cares, this part is better)

I walked out my house, and locked the door. I walked to the cafe I was working at. "Hey Mei." I said, she smiled and waved at me. I walked to the coffee machine and began to setup for the day. "Did you hear?" Mei said, cleaning some dishes. "Hear what?" 

"We are gonna start selling soba. Apparently its really popular." 

"Yeah, its pretty good. Wonder if that guy will come here?"

"What guy?"

"I met this guy at a soba shop, and made him fall to the ground so I bought his soba."

"I see, you were always thinking of others."

"Oh hush, there is a customer," I said nodding my head towards the door. Mei ran to the counter. "Hello, how may I help you?" it was a boy with grey hair with a blue...streak... "Alacan?"

The boy looked up at me, "How do you know my name?" I was in shock. At least I know he doesn't recognize me, I mean, who would. "Uhhh, just.. a wild guess. " "Okay..? Well, I am the new soba chef." "oh, follow me!" Mei said, and they walked back into the kitchen. I decided to make them a cup of coffee, I knew Mei liked black, "hey, new boy, what coffee ya like?" "Mocha!"

I started making the coffees, hen I finished, brought them to the kitchen,"Here you your morning coffee, enjoy!" I smiled as I handed the cups to them, I quickly left the kitchen to greet a customer. "Hello, how may I help you today?" "Do you have soba?" asked a calm voice. "Yes, we just started, what can I get you?" 

"Cold soba, chicken please." I nodded taking down his order. "Anything else?" I said smiling. "No, that's all." "Alright, I will be back with your food!" I went to the kitchen, "I need cold, chicken soba." Alacan immediately started making the food. I walked over to the man, "Would you like something to drink?" I smiled.

"Water please." 

"Would you like a lemon, lime?"

"No, thank you"

"Alright, I will be back."

I walked to get a glass of water, filled it, and walked back to the man. "Here you go sir." I said, placing the glass next to the brunette.

"Thank you," he smiled.

That is how most our customers are. Sometimes, couples come in for dates, friends hanging out, normal things. 

"I'm heading out, can you close up?" called Mei from the door. I nodded, and waved. Mei smiled and left. I began to clean up. "You sure you don't need help?" I turned around to see Alacan. "Yeah, I normally close up anyway, you should head home, its getting late." "Ah, but you see, me and Mei are adults, we can stay up. You, however, are to be starting school in a few weeks, you should rest." I smiled, and waved him bye,"so you're gonna go home and rest?"

"No, I'm waving you bye, I have the key, I know where the dirtiest areas are, i know where things should go. You don't now have a good night. You need to rest, you made a lot of soba today."

"I think I'll get it just fine, you head home." I sighed," Fine, let me get you the key. I retrieved the key, and gave it to him. Then, left the cafe. He stood in the doorway,and waved, so I approached him from behind, "Sorry,"I said as I pushed him out the door and locked it. He tried to use the key, but it turned into a shadow and disappeared. I made a shadow on the glass, "Sorry, you have to earn the key to the fortress of my family." I smiled, and he did so in return. He walked off and I finished closing up. I walked home and tried to sleep, I got about 8 hours asleep. That boosted my energy quite a bit. 

I ate about 5 bowls of soba that day, my appetite suddenly appeared. 

I decided to visit the graveyard.

I placed the flowers on all 4 graves, making sure I got their favorite flowers. 

"Lilacs for grandma, poppy's for grandpa, roses for. . ." I stopped as tears ran down my face, I fell to my knees and sobbed at their graves. "Why did you leave so soon? Why couldn't you be here to help me?" I stood, my eyes still full of tears, as I walked to a different grave. I put the leather flowers in the vase, and took out the dead ones. 

"Why?" I fell completely to the ground, my whimpers going unheard. I soon returned home. 

Tomorrow is my first day at U.A. . .

What happened? Idk what to put.
