The Girl in the Corner [Todoroki x Reader]

Only Me

Todoroki's POV

I walked into class, my usual expression upon my face. I went to sit in my assigned seat, but was stopped by Midoriya. "Hey, Todoroki-kun! I noticed you've seemed a bit off latley, is something wrong?" 'Am I seriously the only one who noticed she was gone?'  The freckled boy seemed confused, by my silence. My expression became irritated. "I didn't think you all were so oblivious, especially you Midoriya." I walked past him, and sat in my desk. "W-wait! What do you mean?! Is it because Mr.Aizawa hasn't been here?" He asked, approaching me, getting the attention of the class.

"Have none of you noticed anything different since Mr.Aizawa's been gone?"

"Bakugou and Deku get into more fights?" Mina said. Well. She isn't wrong. They fight way too much. "No! If you didn't notice, then it's not important to you. The fact that you haven't noticed, after 2 weeks, is the worst of all." I said, and with that, the bell rang, and class began.

Time Skip

I was walking home, when Kirishima and his friend group approached me. "Hey bro! Wait up!" I turned towards them, I was still irritated. "What?"

"Whoa, chill. We just want to talk."(and bring you to a white van, and kidnap you totally normal) Kaminari poked his head out from behind the group. "You seemed really upset in class about everyone not noticing something. What was it?" Asked the electric boy. "How many students do we have in our class?" I asked, irritated. "21! Now answer the question Icy-Hot!" I scowled.

"There is your answer. Won't have 21 students, we have 22!" I said. They seemed confused. "No, there are 21, I should know," Said Mina,"I talk to everyone!" Kirishima looked guilty. "No, there are 22. But I forgot she was there. I talked to her once, she was really nice. I always saw her in the back. Happy and smiling. So I never paid mind to her." He looked at the ground. "How did I not notice she was gone? I mean, since Mr.Aizawa'sbeen gone, I felt like something else was missing. The happiness from the girl in the corner." Tears fell to the sidewalk as he cried. "Who?" The rest of the group asked.

"Y/n l/n, 14. She had a shadow quirk, and it was very strong. She is currently hospitalized. She has been for the past two weeks. In a coma." I said, and walked away for the group to sink in the information.

Todorki:I sounded like a jerk, but yeah it's true
Author: it's 11:26 Am. I can't write, okay? I write at 9pm-4 A.m this is too early right now.
Todorki: that's bot healthy
Author:your mind is more active when your asleep, rather than awake. I am half a sleep when I write...jk, I'm eating raisins then. Night time I have less stress and stuff so it helps.

3rd POV

The group was left to think about the information given to them. The dual hair boy entered the hospital, and went straight to her room. The staff knew him by name, only visiting two rooms. His mother, and that girl. "Y/n" he said as he passed the receptionist. She nodded, assuring he was allowed in. He entered her room, to see Shota and Hizashi in each other's embrace as they looked at the girl. The teen pulled two bentos from his bag and handed them to his teachers, knowing they most likely never left her side all day. 

They gave their thanks, and ate their food. "Any news?" questioned the dual haired boy. "About her? No. About our plans? Definitely." Hitachi said, smiling. Causing Shoto to smile as well. "You'll learn in time, but it's a good thing." He said placed a hand on her cheek. Suddenly, her heart rate increased, she began to sweat, and twist and turn.

They called for the doctor, and he quickly came. Checking her vitals and things, calming her. "She is having terrors in her sleep. This means she is able to move her body, and her mind is active." He stated as he left.

Todoroki POV

I assume she will wake up soon than. Suddenly, there was a loud knock on the door, and walked over and opened it, to see my entire class. "What are you doing here?" I questioned them. "We came to apologise and see Y/n. Kirishima stated. I deadpan.

"You do know that only 5 people are allowed at once right?" He scratched the back of his neck. "Oh yeah, heh I forgot."

2 at a time, my classmates came in and looked at the girl, they didn't know had been in their class. Bakugou was the last person to visit. He stares at her. And frowns. "The only real extra, and now she's in a hospital. What happened?" He looked at me. "Quirk. She couldn't properly work it. She has been training with her other quirk." I said

"Wait. She has 2?! HOW THE F-"before he could continue, Y/n began to cough. "*cough cough* shut up *cough*" I held back a laugh. "THE HELL YOU JUST SAY!? HEY WAKE UP, YOU DON'T JUST COUGH AND EXIT A COMA JUST TO INSULT ME YOU LITTLE BAS-"

"Y/n?" Mr.Aizawa stared at her. Her eyes began to open, and she smiled. "Hey Mr.Aizawa,"she turned to the angry pomeranian,"do you know how to be quiet?  I was taking a nap! Anyway, the answer is YES!" She said turning to her two teachers, they smiled and hugged.

"What the f-"
