"Everyone set for tomorrow?" Taehyung spoke to the five other members at lunch.
Each one responded, eager to spend Namjoon's birthday together.
"How do you plan on getting Namjoon to the karaoke place?" Jimin asked, the others nodding in agreement.
"Don't you worry, Jiminie. Leave it to me!" the boy replied enthusiastically.
-
"Namjoon! Let's gooooo!" Taehyung groaned, continuing to bang on the bedroom door.
It'd been almost an hour since he gave his incredibly convincing reason for going to the karaoke bar, and now he was waiting an agonizingly long time for his brother to get ready.
Suddenly, the door swung open, a grumpy looking Namjoon standing in front.
Taehyung eyed him up and down, before giving a 'fit looks good' nod.
Sighing, the older ruffled his hair and tugged at his shirt.
"I still don't understand why I have to dress nicely to drop you off to meet Jeongguk," he complained as they made their way downstairs.
"And I told you that we're going on an important date, and I don't want you ruining the mood by showing up in your pajamas with uncombed hair."
Namjoon grabbed his wallet and keys, Taehyung following close behind.
"I'm dropping you off! I'll be in the car!"
"Doesn't matter. Your presence will be felt in the atmosphere, and you'll ruin the mood..."
Yes. That sounded extremely realistic.
"What does that even mean? I-my presence will be felt in the atmosphere?? How- you know what, never mind." Namjoon gave up, walking over to his son, still mumbling to himself.
"Bye Jae-Jae, I'll be back soon. Listen to Mimi," Namjoon gave a quick kiss to the three year old, whose attention barely left the animated screen in front of him.
"Mom! I'm taking Tae out! I'll be back soon!" the boys moved to the front door, slipping on their shoes and coats, as their mother came out of the laundry room.
"Have fun you two, be safe!"
-
"H-hey." Jimin stuttered softly, moving out of the doorway to allow Yoongi and a jumpy Jeongguk in.
Yoongi smiled slightly, watching the shy boy's cheeks paint with color. He partially hid behind the frame of the door.
The longer Yoongi starred, the more the boy shrank, and the darker his face became. The blonde watched as Jimin nervously, bit down on his plump bottom lip, turning the muscle upwards into a small smile.
Cute.
"Hya Chim!" Jeongguk jumped right over, throwing an arm over Jimin's shoulders, startling the boy.
"Hi Jeongguk. How are you?" Jimin responded politely.
"Oh I'm great! I can't believe we're going to get to spend a whole day with Namjoon! How rare! Food, cake, presents, friends- speaking of which...where are the food, cake, presents, and friends?" Jeongguk furrowed his eyebrows and looked around.
So far it was just him, Jimin, and Yoongi standing around in the lit up room, a cake box already on the table.
A knock sounded at the door, and all three turned to see Jin walk in with a basket, and Hoseok walking behind him carrying what looked like a table-shaped present.
