[february]

Namjoon slowly woke up, the sun warming his face.

He yawned, stretching his arms over his head, feeling a lot more relaxed than he usually did.

Someone shifted beside him, their movements dipping the mattress ever so slightly, and for a moment, he thought Young-Jae had crawled into his bed before he remembered the events of the night before.

Namjoon opened his eyes and turned his head, only to have the breath almost knocked out of his lungs.

He had always cursed the oddly placed window that shot beams of sunshine into his eyes every morning, practically blinding him, but somehow, this day, he worshipped whatever being was above that allowed him to have such a sight in front of his very eyes.

Kim Seokjin lay next to him, eyes still closed, plump lips parted, as little breaths of air escaped them. His eyelashes curled naturally, a delicate feature Namjoon found beautiful.

His sculpted features looked no worse, as he peacefully laid his cheek against the pillow, arms tucked under it, almost like an angel resting its face on a heavenly cloud.

Namjoon loved the way the sun shone directly on the older boy's face, practically illuminating it.

Jin's dark hair, unruly, and yet so perfect. Namjoon smiled, reaching out to run his fingers through it gently, causing the older to stir just slightly.

His fingers only stayed there for a minute more, before traveling down Jin's neck and to the vast expanses of his back. Dipping to the middle of his spine, the younger placed his hand, warm and comforting, beginning to draw circles with his thumb.

Namjoon let out a small chuckle, as Jin seemed to snuggle closer into the pillow, letting out a satisfied sigh.

Kim Seokjin was truly a sight to behold.

"I'm glad you were able to get another reservation. We really missed out on the food the first time," Jin said, as he and Namjoon entered the house after dinner.

The younger huffed, stepping out of his shoes, and throwing his coat on the bench beside the door.

"Well, my wallet definitely didn't," he mumbled, Jin laughing at the boy's complaint.

Once both had taken off their shoes, Namjoon loosened his tie. Jin wrapped his arms around the younger's neck and Namjoon responded by placing his hands on the older's waist.

"Well, thank you for dinner. I really appreciated it," he gave the younger a smile, before pecking his lips.

Namjoon hummed, leaning forward to try to capture Jin's lips once more, and pretty soon, they were kissing each other feverishly.

Finally pulling away to take a breath, Namjoon brought the older into a hug, Jin resting his chin on Namjoon's shoulder.

They stood like that for a few moments, Namjoon swaying them a little before he smirked.

He spoke lowly into Jin's ear, his voice coming out in an almost whisper.

"Well, I definitely know a way you can thank me..."

Jin pulled away, slapping Namjoon's arm as the younger boy laughed, but didn't really object. Instead, he bit his lip, a pink tint gracing the tips of his ears.

It went silent as they continued their staring match, Namjoon eyeing the way Jin's front teeth had captured his bottom lip, the older staring at his boyfriend's face, trying to read the expression that settled on it.
