"Red alert, red alert. The Serireitei's securit has been breeched."

"Intruders in the Seireitei?" Aizen's eyes widened, surprised.

"Do you think it's the same Ryoka from before?" Kenpachi asked almost hopeful before he ran for the exit.

"Huh? Wait, Kenpachi. Where are you going?" Aizen called after the fleeting Captain.

"This is most unfortunate, but such a major disruption leaves me with no choice in the matter. This Squad Captain Meeting is hereby dismissed. I shall inform you later as to how Ichimaru will be dealt with. All squads are to heed the alert and report immediately to their battle stations." Head Captain ordered.

With that all the Captains started to leave, leaving Ichimaru standing in the same place as before.

Hajime stepped out into the roads of Squad 1's jurisdiction. He looked up at the sky seeing the force field protecting the Seireitei starting to ripple. There was yellow lightning emitting from it and the ground was shaking and rumbling.

"It hit the membrane and it still survived." Hajime mumbled.

'Of course, Kukaku was behind this. I'm just surprised nobody noticed.'

Hajime mused at the thought. He looked up again to see they made it through the shield; however, the cannonball broke. Hajime watched all of them get stuck in the whirlpool. A few seconds passed and four different lights shot out of the whirlpool, each going in different cardinal directions. Turning back around, Hajime flared his reiatsu slightly to call for Shuhei. Like always, he shunpoed to his captain's side. "Quickly." Hajime motioned, "Let's dispatch the rest of Squad 9."

The two quickly shunpoed their way back to their barracks. Once inside, Hajime gathered his seated officers. "Shuhei, take team 1 to patrol the north; Kyoya, team 2, the east; team 3, south; team 4, west. The rest of the squad will be littered throughout our area and to the borders. Zanpakuto usage is allowed." Hajime shoots out orders. Once he's done, the seated officers all quickly shunpo away to deliver the orders. Hajime turned back to his chair, catching sight of his blue haori. Tugging it over his Captain's robes, Hajime made his way out.

Walking towards the direction of the dangerously low reiryoku, Hajime was meet with the sight of a destroyed battlefield and a heavily injured shinigami.

As he walked closer to the shinigami, Hajime could hear several footsteps behind him. Kira arrived with several other Shinigami.

"C-Captain Saito!!" Kira eyes widened further than they alread have.

Kneeling down, Hajime pressed his fingers to the injured shinigami's neck, noting that this was Abarai. Waiting a few seconds before a beat was felt, Hajime removed his hands.

"Whoever did this can't be far off. Should we begin a search?" One shinigami asked.

"No," Hajime clipped, standing up, "call for a stretcher and get him healed."

The shinigamis moved at his orders.

Following the fluctuations of Abarai's reiryoku, Hajime found himself in the barracks of Squad 1. As he walked into the room, Kuchiki passed him in the way out. Hajime mutters under his breath, "How cruel. He used to be such a happy child."

Inside the room, two Lieutenants, Kira and Hinamori, were fussing over their friend. "Captain Saito!" Hinamori exclaimed, noticing the presence of another Captain.

Hajime nodded then looked at Abarai, inspecting his wounds, "I'll call in Squad 4."

"Would you do that? Really?" Hinamori hopefully asked.

'I just said I would.'

A hell butterfly fluttered through the open door, catching all the eyes of the occupants in the room. Hajime held out his finger as it landed on him. "All Captains, report for a Captain's meeting."

Hajime nodded and sent the butterfly away, "I must be off."

As Hajime left, Hinamori and Kira bowed after him, thanking him for helping their friend.

"The situation has become critical," old man Yama's voice rang in the tense room. "As a result of recent events, the 13 Court Guard Squads are now short by one Lieutenant. Obviously, we can no longer afford to leave these matters in the hands of lower-ranked officers and members. Subsequently, no disciplinary measures will be taken against Ichimaru for his earlier independent actions." Yamamoto finished.

"Thank you, sir." Ichimaru spoke up.

"Furthermore, senior officers, including Lieutenants, shall hereby be allowed to carry the zanpakuto at all times, with full war-time usage of their power." Old man Yama granted us free reign.

"Full war-time usage?" I muttered, this will be hectic.

"Full release as in wartime, ey? I couldn't be happier." Zaraki grinned manically.

"Hah. If someone hadn't allowed the ryoka to excape in the first place, none of these measures would be necessary." Kurotsuchi teased, hinting at a certain Captain.

"Now, now. What's the use of talking like that?" Ichimaru chastised.

"Anyway, he's fair game now, just the way I want it." Zaraki chuckles darkly at the end.

"Everyone! Let us declare all-out war on these ryoka!" Yamamoto announced.

'This won't end well.'

A heavy air settled over the meeting room.

Hajime walked out the meeting room, "We have declared all-out war on the Ryoka. Additionally, all seated officers, including Lieutenants, are allowed to carry their zanpakuto with full war-time usage of their power." He informed his lieutenant.

Shuhei nodded and shunpoed away from here to relay the news to all the squad members.
