Master Yamamoto made a circle of fire, surrounding the battlefield and taking the three inside.

'This transcendent spiritual pressure even in its shikai state, this heat, scorched the heavens and consumes even the clouds. That blade turns everything before it to ash. The oldest and greatest of them all. It is Ryujin Jakka.'

"What are you waiting for? Go on and release your swords!" Master ordered, "You haven't much time. Surely you don't wish to be burned without even challenging me?" Master asked and intensified the power.

"I guess it can't be helped, Jushiro, Hajime. Shall we?" Shunsui asked us.

"... yes." Jushiro answered.

Hajime just sighed but nodded.

Jushiro took the lead, "All waves, rise now and become my shield! Lightning, strike now and become my blade! Sogyo no Kotowari."

Hajime followed afterwards, "Gekido, Umi no Kami." Hajime's release call was, by far, the shortest between all three of them. While releasing Hajime's shikai, he also released all three of his seals. Letting his reiatsu run free was something Hajime enjoyed, not having to always be aware of who he's with. He knew that these three people could handle his immense reiatsu.

"Flower wind rage and flower god roar Heavenly wind rage and heavenly demons sneer. Katten Kyokotsu." Shunsui released his shikai.

The trio of Captains tensed, mentally preparing for a battle between their Master. The flames burned bright around the group of Captains, flickering occasionally.

"Sogyo no Kotowari, Umi no Kami, and Katten Kyokotsu. These three are the only dual Zanpakuto, and they are magnificent!" Master praised after letting his student prepare.

Shunsui had his swords upright and at the ready while Hajime and Jushiro were carrying their swords in a relaxed manner.

"Just like the old days, the three of you have lost none of your power. Are you ready to face me?" Master Yamamoto asked.

"Yes," Shunsui said.

"Anytime," Jushiro said.

Hajime tensed his leg, the three following after, before they all ran forward and clashed swords. Dust and sand rose into the air, creating a huge cloud.

Raising his sword, Hajime used water to block the fire attack coming my way. Mist enveloped the area around him before settling down. It was difficult to battle Master Yamamoto especially since he knew the full capabilities of the trio's zanpakutos. However, Hajime knew they just had to hold him back. To distract him long enough before the real battle begins. Jushiro and Shunsui already suspected something, and they both quickly caught on to Hajime's objective.

From where Hajime was, he couldn't get a good hit on their master, but.... Hajime raised his sword and sent a slash of water infused with his power towards Jushiro. The sickly man caught on and used his zanpakuto to change the direction of his attack. Absorbing Hajime's attack and sending it toward their master through the other blade. With his sword's ability, Jushiro enhanced Hajime's original attack's speed and pressure. It happened so fast, that the attack looked as if it came from Jushiro's own zanpakuto. Shunsui took full advantage of his surrounding, the fire, and the massive tsunami that's approaching Master Yamamoto and played his zanpakuto's game, kageoni. As the wave approached, Shunsui hid himself in the Head Captain's shadow. Before the tsunami was about to land, Shunsui revealed himself and stabbed at his Master before retreating into his friend's shadows. Their skills, power, and years of experience worked in their favor. All those years of training and fighting together gave the three an ability to fight as one with perfect synchronization. However, can they beat their Master?

The tsunami hit. Immediately upon contact, a large amount of steam enveloped the battlefield. Once cleared, Hajime, Shunsui, and Jushiro saw their Master. He had a slash wound on the side of his stomach while his sword was raised. He had used the fire around him to act as a barrier but he didn't dodge the sword attack.

Hajime sighed, "Almost done," he muttered.

Shunsui caught it. Glancing at Hajime he gives him a look.

Hajime nodded to confirm his friend's silent question.

Minutes of tension passed, the trio having no luck against their Master. They could only get a few hits in. The occasional small cuts.

Hajime was running in for another attack, ice along his sword, and his friends having his back. His foot suddenly dug into the dirt, stopping him a few feet in front of his master, who has his sword raised.

Head Captain Yamamoto raises his eyebrow, "Why have you stopped?" he asked, noticing Hajime's body tensing further, and the man look up somewhere else. Shunsui, Jushiro, and old man Yama all stopped when Hajime did. They could feel his reiatsu rise and spread out. He was searching for something.

"It's started," Hajime said.

Shunsui and Jushiro nodded solemnly. They sheathed their swords and waited for any change with Hajime.

"What is the meaning of this?!" Old man Yama shouted, "Why have you stopped?!"

Suddenly, old man Yama stopped yelling. Yamamoto, Hajime, Shunsui, and Jushiro all felt the connect. Every seated officer, and even the Ryoka, were connected to the announcement, meaning it was very important.

"Attention. All Court Guard Squad Captains, Lieutenants, and seated officers, may I have your attention please. And also, the Ryoka. This is Squad 4 Lieutenant, Kotetsu Isane, with an urgent announcement. Listen closely, as the message will not be repeated. This is an emergency report from Captain Unohana regarding the traitor in our midst. As grim as the following facts are, what I'm about to tell you is the truth."

"This cannot be," old man Yama uttered, surprised by the utter betrayal.

"Well, you heard the lady," Shunsui mused. "Doesn't this fight see a little pointless now?"

"Let's go," Hajime whispered before taking off.

Jushiro and Shunsui don't miss a beat and shunpo after Hajime. Old man Yama easily caught up, the four going together as a group to the sokyoku. As they approached, they could sense many shinigamis all gathering at the hill.
