The Hawk meets the Angel (Hawks (Keigo takami) x reader

Chapter 7

*(Y/N) Pov*
Keigo and I were hovering over the cemetery.

"Over there." I pointed. We both sat down in between the two graves.

I sighed and put one hand on each grave. "It has been a while and a lot has happened." I looked at Keigo. "A lot of exciting and new things." I grabbed his hand. "This is my boyfriend. We have only been dating for about a week but he makes me very happy. He is a pro hero named Hawks and I saved his life." Keigo and I smiled at each other.

I pulled out the flowers and put them on moms grave.

"I still remember when I was little how you used to take me to a garden and you told me that these were your favorite. I hope you like them." I grabbed the ball and set it on the grave. "Happy birthday brother. I miss you both a lot but I know you would want me to stay h-happy so I'm d-doing my best." I smiled though I felt tears run down my face. "I'll b-be strong for b-both of you."

Keigo grabbed my hand as I wiped the tears away. I got a cold feeling as I felt someone touch my shoulder and a different hand grab my hand.

"Keigo, is there someone behind me?"

"No. Angel Why?" He asked sounding panicked.

I shook my head and smiled. "It's nothing. It was probably just the wind." "Oh I almost forgot we have cake."

I started cutting the cake.

"Ow!"

I looked up "Keigo what's wrong?"

He cleared his throat. "Sorry, I just got a cramp in my leg."

I chuckled. "Get up and stretch a little."

*Hawks Pov*
There was no cramp in my leg. I felt someone kick my back but no one was there. I feel bad lying to her but if told her the truth then she would think I'm crazy.

I looked at the grave. Her brother died young. I wonder what happened.

*Y/N pov*

After eating some cake and talking more we cleaned everything up and said our goodbyes.

I laid my head on Keigos chest as he started flying me home.

"If something is bothering you then you can tell me."

I sighed. "I guess I'm not really good at hiding my emotions."

"It is kind of obvious. Usually when I fly this high you would be smiling and looking down at the ground but you're not doing that."

"My thoughts are just negative and dark right now. They will go away soon."

He kissed my forehead. "I won't judge you."

"I just - I don't deserve this."

Keigo stopped flying and hovered in the air. "You don't deserve what?"

"Any of this. I don't deserve you, or to happy, or even just to live. My brother he deserves it. He saved me. There was a drunk driver, I didn't see the car and I was crossing the street. He pushed me out of the way but he g-got hit. He was younger then me I was s-supposed to protect him not be the reason he is dead. I'm pathetic." I leaned closer to him trusting to hide my sobs.

"You did your best. You were protecting him your whole life even though it caused you to stuffer. Please don't say such bad things about yourself. You're not at all pathetic you have been though a lot and you are very strong. It's not your fault it was the drivers fault. Remember what you told me what is done is done and you can't change that so all you can do is grow stronger from your scars." He kissed my forehead again and slowly started flying.

What did I do to deserve such a wonderful man?

"K-keigo?"

"Yes?"

"I- I love you."

I felt his body tense before he relaxed. "I love you too angel."
