Chapter 6

*The next day* (Y/N) pov

After getting dressed I went to work. When Hina saw me I saw many emotions run through her until she glared at me.

"Why are you here? Do you not know what today is?"

I gave a soft smile. "I course I know it's my brothers birthday I'll visit him after work."

She shook her head but had a small smile. "You never listen. You're worse then my child."

"Aw, That's not nice."

"Yeah I know. Now help me with these drinks."

In between costumers Hina and I talked which was hard because I couldn't stop thing about Keigo.

"Hina, How do you know if you actually love someone?"

She chuckled. "There are many things. You love spending time with them, they may do weird things but you find those things cute, you can't stop thinking about them."

I looked at her. "Well damn. I guess I do love him."

She nodded. "I believe it. You have a look in your eyes that I've never saw before. Oh I should have that talk with him."

I looked at her confused. "What talk?"

She smiled. "The 'If you hurt her or make her cry I'll skin you alive like the chicken you are' talk."

"Please don't."

The front door chimed singling that someone walked in.

"Hello, what can I get you." I looked up and saw Keigo.

Hina pushed me aside and glared at him. "I have something to tell you. If you ever -"

I covered her mouth. "Hina I think there is someone at the drive thru. You should go take their ord- Ew you licked me." When I pulled my hand away she pointed at the very confused man. "You are lucky so don't ever forget that." I sighed once she walked away.

"I'm sorry about that."

"I have a feeling I know what she was going to say. I promise I won't hurt you."

"Wow you're really good. That is exactly what she was talking about." I smirked "So what are you doing here stalker?" I teased.

I put his hand where his heart would be. "Ouch downgraded to stalker again."

I laughed. "What are you doing here Keigo?"

"Much better. I here because I wanted to see you and wanted to know if you are free after work?"

I looked at the clock then back at him. "I get off in two hours but I have to make some stops and then go to the cemetery. It's my brothers birthday. After that I'm free. It's totally not romantic but you can come to the cemetery with me."

"I wouldn't want to intrude."

"You wouldn't I'm sure that if they could they would both want to meet you."

He smiled. "Okay. I'll pick you up in two hours."

"I'll see you then."

After a long and painful two hours me and Hina closed the shop as Keigo arrived.

"Hina, stop glaring at him."

Keigo walked to Hina. "I promise that I will never hurt her. All I want to do is protect her and make her happy. If I do somehow hurt her then I will let you hurt me."

Hina and I both looked at him in shock.

"Wow, okay. You two have fun but not two much." She winked before waving goodbye.

Keigo looked at me. "Was that a weird think to say."

"No, I think that was exactly what she wanted to hear."

"That's good because she is scary when she is mad."

I chuckled. "Yes, she is." We both started walking.

"Where do we need to stop?"

"My house so I can get changed. A sports shop to get a present for my brother and then a flower shop for flowers for my mom." I looked up at him. "Just to warn you I will be talking to them as if they can hear me so I'm sorry if any of this is weird."

He kissed my forehead. "It's not weird at all. It is a healthy way to cope. Who's to say that they can't hear you."

I smiled. "Thank you."

"Of course angel."

We got to my house and I got changed into something nicer then a work outfit and we went to the mall.

"Keigo, do you want to split up?"

He looked hurt and sad. "What did I do?"

I was confused until I realized what I said. "Oh no that's not what I meant. I meant split up as in I go get the present and you get the flowers."

He sighed and placed a hand on his chest. "You scared me. Be careful with how you word things. Yes we can do that."

I kissed his cheek. "I'm sorry for scaring you. Meet me back here when your done."

I told him what flowers to get then I went to the sport store. He loved playing baseball so I got a ball with his favorite team logo on it. I payed then walked to where we would meet.

A few minutes later Keigo came back with the flowers but also a large bag.

"What in the bag?"

"A cake."

I smiled. "You always go overboard. Thank you."

We were walking out of the mall until we were surrounded by people. Everyone of them asking a different question and shoving cameras or microphones in our faces.

I got really anxious so I grabbed Keigos hand. His wings wrapped around my back drowning out most of the noise but also protecting me.

"Hold the bag and I can get you out of here." He sounded mad but I knew it wasn't because of me.

I put the flowers and ball in the bag and grabbed it. He picked me up bridal style. "Hold on tight." I grabbed his shirt with on hand while holding the bag with the other as he flew straight up and away from the mall.

"I'm sorry that happened."

"It's fine. It is just part of being a hero or in my case dating a hero. The hottest and most handsome hero who ever existed."

I smiled as I saw his cheeks become red.

My theory was correct the big bird found a little one. This makes everything even more interesting.
