Edythe has been born with the inflection of magic, a cruel misplacement upon her. I ask you to take her in as your own, to teach and mentor her into a life that she may understand.
I will never be able to give her a proper understanding of who and what she is and may be. As her father, I want what is best for my daughter, and in my heart, I know it is with her people, although it pains me greatly. She would never belong under my noble household and name, and she would never live without fear. A fear I dread to think I could inflict.
Please give her a life and purpose to have her best chance. I urge you to think carefully and to decide what is best for Edythe with great honourability.
