"Who is this sera?" My mom asks surprisingly in a cool tone more like a curious tone. Well at least she wasn't mad

"Um mom, this is my boyfriend Caliban" I say getting up and standing next to Caliban grabbing his arm and intertwining our hands

Still mad at him about yesterday but mom didn't need to know that just yet

"You must be Mrs Knightly! It's lovely to meet you, these are for you!" He says and hands my mom a bouquet of flowers that he definitely did not have two seconds ago

"Oh theses are lovely! And please call me Annie" my mom says

Oh lord, why was she not mad. It made me uncomfortable that she wasn't mad.

"So why do you dress like that?" Laura asks Caliban hands on her hips

Oh Jesus

Caliban laughs "this is how we dress from where I am, but only sometimes, I wear normal clothes too!" Caliban says

Laura nods interested. Watch her launch into a full game of 20 questions with my boyfriend.

I remember that I still haven't showered yet and decide to get everyone out of my room

"Laura, mom why don't you go show Caliban the rest of the house and get him some breakfast, I need to shower" I tell my mom

"Oh! Do you have any of those things you brought the other time? What are they called again? Circle cake- sweet cake-" Caliban says

I realise he is talking about pancakes. What a lucky guy. "Pancakes? Yea I made some this morning, go eat your heart out babe." I tell him

My mom nods and hold Laura's hand waking out of my room

Caliban starts to follow them but I grab his arm

"Don't think I've forgotten about yesterday or forgiven you, also change into a better shirt, like an actual shirt not a vest that shows literally all your abs! You look like a weirdo!" I tell him

He raises and eye brow and takes off his best leaving his top half naked. "And change into what?

I avert my eyes. I turn to my dresser and go through my boys clothes section. Where I keep my oversized mens shirts I like to wear when I'm lounging around. I find a black shirt. It was a men's medium which was a drowning dress on me but it was going to have to do

"Wear this" I say and throw the shirt at him

I watch him put it on. All his muscles flex as he puts it on and I can't help staring. The shirt hugs him perfectly.

"Ok now get out. Don't say too much to my mom and you'll probably meet my brother and dad so don't piss him off. Also my sister will play a few round of 20 questions with you so have fun. I need a shower." I say pushing out of my room

"See you later baby" he says before I slam my door shut and lock it

Why was everything happening at the worst time possible. The world was literally in danger and my boyfriend shows up and meets my family.

I turn on the shower taps so the water gets warm while I strip out of my clothes and hop in the shower.

Black jeans and very very white snow knit jumper. Why was I wearing white on a day were it could get dirty? I really did not know.

I walk down the stairs and hear multiple voices that where all engaged in a civil conversation. I could hear them laughing. What even?

I walk into the dinning room where I see my boyfriend eating pancakes while he spoke to my parents.

Mitch was on the other end of the table playing on his iPad and Laura was sitting right next to Caliban. That was fast.

I smile at how my little sister gazed at the quote "tall big scary man" like she thought he was the most beautiful thing she's seen.

I clear my throughly making my presence known

"Oh hey hun!" My mom says

I walk over and sit on the other side of Caliban because my sister was sitting in the other

"We got to get going soon Caliban" I say rubbing his thigh under the table. I didn't do it sexually. I swear. It was just an instinctive and it felt right. Just when I think he doesn't notice and that my rubbing starts to get a little awkward he grabs my hand and brings it up to the table still holding it

My mom looks at our hands and awws. And my dad looks at it and rolls his eyes. Then Laura gets off her chair and wedges herself between myself and Caliban and puts her hand on top of Caliban's. Oh Jesus.

"Yea we should probably head off, thank you for being to kind and welcoming" Caliban says to my parents as we get up from our chairs.

Why on earth was Laura still holding our hands. Both my parents get up as well. My mom comes over and hugs me tight and pulls Laura off us and my dad does the same to me but shakes Caliban's hand.

"Don't let anyone hurt her" my dad says to Caliban

"I wouldn't even dream of it" Caliban says

My dad nods approvingly

"Bye guys, I'll see you later. I love you all so much" I say heading for the door

"By guys! Be safe!" My mom calls out as I step out the door and shut it

"Are you ready?" Caliban asks me holding my hand

I pull my hand away from his

"Yea, no one but the pagans are dying today" I say

Silence as we walk to the school too meet everyone else

"Are you still mad about yesterday?" He asks me

The man doesn't even apologise, he just asks if I'm still mad

"No." I say lying

"Well you seem mad" he says

"Well I'm not!" I snap at him

"Geeze, are you sure" he asks

At this point I wanted to punch him

"Would you just shut up!" I say and I take off running to the school leaving him behind

"Fuck" I hear him cuss knowing that he fucked up

But it doesn't last long because I can hear his heavy footsteps catching up. I wasn't actually running at full speed yet so I run faster. I'm pretty sure I lost him but I didn't want to go to far that he loses his way. He was just annoying me right now.

Once I get to the doors of the school I look back and see that Caliban's directly in front of my face, about 500 meters away.

If he wants to stay my boyfriend he's going to spend a lot of time chasing me
