King of Hell- Caliban

Caliban and I were currently in my kitchen on Christmas eve, trying to whip up a delicious meal for my family to come home to from their holiday.

Yesterday I went to Sabrina's place and had aunt Hilda do a witchy check up on me to make sure I was not pregnant...

Thankfully, I was not. But Sabrina did take me to a witchy doctor who gave me birth control pills without question and without a parent.

It was currently 5 o'clock and my mom had texted me that they where due to be home at around 6:30.

I put him on cake frosting duty cause I don't trust him to slow cook the lamb or anything else.

He was doing terribly at frosting the chocolate cake but I wasn't going to tell him that. He had his tongue sticking out the left corner of his mouth. Something I realised that he does when he's focusing.

He caught me staring.

"Am I doing alright" he asks me

"It looks great" I say snickering at the fact that it really didn't look great

"Then why are you laughing" he says crossing his arms and frowning

I walk over to him, snuggle under his arm so that he's holding me from behind and chuckle

"I swear it looks good" I say looking at the cake

"Ok good" he says and continues to "frost chocolate flowers" on the cake top

I go and work on the mash potatoes and gravy.

Caliban and I finished cooking and no we are setting up the table.

The door opens and I hear multiple voices. I take Caliban's hand and we walk out the they foyer of my house where I see my beloved family coming in.

"Hey guys! Did you have fun?" I ask them

"Sera!" Laura says and comes running to me. I crouch down and she jumps into my arms "I missed you" she says

"I missed you too" I laugh at her "guess who's here, it the big scary man" I say and point up at Caliban who had just shook my dads hand.

He smiles down at her and she hugs his legs

"He's not scary anymore" she says and drags my boyfriend to go and see her new toy collection

I see Mitch walking in.

"Hey buddy, how was the trip?" I ask him and give him a big sister smooch on his cheek

"Ewww, yuck. It was fun but now I'm going to die from girl cooties" he says wiping his cheek and running away from me

"Smell great in here sweetie, can't wait to eat" my mom says and gives me a hug, "I'm just going to freshen up and I'll be right out for dinner" she says and drags her suitcase to her room

"Let's say grace" my mom says

Caliban has a confused look on his face but doesn't say anything but takes my hand and Laura's hand. Of course she's sitting next to him, my nine year old sister may have a little crush on my boyfriend.

"Dear lord, we thank you for bringing our family together at this time of our Christ and thank you for the food we have before us. We would also like to thank sera and her boyfriend for cooking up such a lovely meal. Look upon us and look after us lord. Amen." My mom says
