Caliban

I was holding Ty when I looked up at Sera and saw that she was staring at me, for the first time without anger and sadness.

I feel awful that I caused her to feel all that shit and after what I put her through I wasn't surprised that she didn't want to be with me. But I wanted so bad for her to talk to me again. I missed how we used to sleep together and how she used to cry at the littlest things. Surely she would eventually talk to me again.

Right?

Our eyes locked and just like that her gaze towards me was cold again.

I fucked up.

I know, I fucked up real bad.

I want to talk to her but she specifically asked me to stay away from her and to never speak to her again.

Not going to lie, the past month I spent sulking over her. Punch a few walls. Threw and broke a few things in the process. My mother had come to me a few times and said that she wanted to apologise to Sera but said that I should probably first.

I even started to drink. Something I never do. Once nick walked in on me passed out on my bedroom floor and bottles all over my room and suggest that I stop.

Ty was staring at me. Like straight at me. Then he started to blow spit bubbles out of his tiny mouth making me chuckle a little.

"Okay I'll take him now" says Sabrina taking Ty out of my arms

"Would you guys like to stay for dinner?" Lucifer asks

"Ill check with my parents first but it should be fine" says sera taking out her phone to text her parents

"Yes please!" Says Sabrina "what about you nick?"

He nods in agreement

"Caliban?" Lucifer asks

Sera looks at me

"Sure" I say with a small grin

Sera rolls her eyes

"Great I'll let the chef know now to make more than usual." Lucifer says and kisses his wife and baby before leaving the room

It's going to be an interesting evening

Sera

"I actually need to freshen up and take a shower. Do you guys mind if I leave Typhon with you guys for a bit?" Lilith asks

"No of course not" Sabrina says

"Thanks you, why don't you guys go to the living room or Typhon's nursery" Lilith suggests

We nod and one by one exits the room. Sabrina had Ty and walked into his nursery which was next door.

The room was painted light grey and had its own closet and bathroom. This baby's room was three times bigger than mine.

Sabrina and I sit in the nursery chairs that where in the room.

"Caliban and I are going to find Lucifer. We want to see his barbecue set." Nick says

"Okay, come back here later when your done." Sabrina says to nick before both the boys walk out.

I let out a deep breath that I didn't know I was holding.

"You good there S?" Brina asks me

"Yea. Great" I reply

"Freaking liar, you know you guys need to talk about it. You don't need to be friends again or anything but you can't not talk forever." She says

"Yes we can, I don't need to talk to him. Actually there is nothing to talk about" I say simply

She shakes her head "when they come back you guys can talk about it."

"Nope. No thanks" I say

Brina rolls her eyes

"Look he's sleeping again" I say pointing to the little human in her arms

"Let's put him in the cot" she says and gets up and walks slowly to the fang cot in the middle of the room

Once she puts him in she turns on the nightlight with his name on it.

"I can't wait to have one!" Sabrina says while we both stand at Ty's cot and stare at him sleeping

Creepy when I say it like that but he was sooo cute.

"Same but we'll be waiting a while. We haven't even passed our finals." I laugh

"But until I get my own I got Ty to practice with. I can't believe I actually have a sibling!" She says excitedly

We stand in comfortable silence for a while

"Hey, your birthday is the week after our finals! What were you planning for your 18th?!" She asks suddenly remembering

"I honestly haven't thought about it. Maybe I'll hire the school hall to throw a big bash?" I suggest

"Yes! And you can pick a theme-" Brina says

"We're backkkk!" Says nick coming into the room

"Oh hey guys!" Sabrina says and walks over to her boyfriend To talk to him about something

Caliban walks over to the crib and looks into it. Not wanting to be near him I walk towards Ty's Closet to get away from him.

I was glancing around at the already filled walk in closet when I hear the door of the room shut.

I come back out to the bedroom and see that Sabrina and nick are no longer in the room and that it's just me, Caliban and Ty.

"What the fu-" Caliban says

"Language!" I say pointing out that Ty shouldn't be hearing such profanity

I storm over to the door and see that Sabrina has locked it somehow from the outside.

"Brina! Open the door right now!" I say annoyed

"No, not until you both have talked things over" she says From the other side of the door.

"You left your brother in here!" I say trying to get her to open the door

"I left him in there for a reason, it's so when you guys talk about your issues you can't scream at each other because you'll wake him up and he'll cry. You don't want that happening do you?" She says

I groan "I'll jump out of the balcony!" I threaten

"From the third floor? Into the bush of poisonous, thorn covered roses down below?" She says laughing

Was she joking

I walk over to the balcony and see that she was in fact not lying.

I walk over to the door

"Sabrina, I swear I will kill you once I get out-" I say

"Oh hush, I'm not asking you guys to get back together and have make up sex." She says

"Sabrina!" I say face palming myself

"I'll be back in 10 minutes! Byeeeee!" She says

"No! Nick?!" I question his presence

"Sorry Sera but you both need to sort some stuff out" he says before I hear them walk away

What a nightmare I though to myself and I rested my head on the door.

"Sooo..." I hear Caliban say

I sigh and shut my eyes.
