Chapter 8

Emma's POV

Niall kisses my cheek and I can feel myself blushing. To try and hide my rosy red cheeks I tilt my head forward and hide behind a curtain of hair. I jerk up my head up and fix it.

"Guess its my turn" I didn't have to guess who I was going to pick "truth or dare Harry?"

"Dare" Harry says running a hand through his curly hair.

"I dare you to kiss Kiki!" I blurt out without thinking.

Everyone gasps and looks in Harry's direction. All except for Kiki who is thanking me under her breath.

Harry faces towards Kiki and kisses her quickly and pulls away.

"You call that a kiss Harry!" Louis shouts.

"Fine!" He says meeting her lips again this time for longer.

He pulls away and Kiki is completely love struck. Her cheeks bright red and displayed the biggest smile someone could ever fit on her face.

"Much better" Louis teases and Harry punches him in the shoulder.

"Ok my turn now" Harry says looking around the circle with his hand to his chin "Louis... Truth or dare?"

"Dare my little Hazza Bear" Louis says making his words rhyme.

"Ok, I dare you to jump in the pool downstairs" Harry says looking out the window.

"Easy enough" Louis says and we all head downstairs to make sure he does.

We get to the pool out back and he dips his toe in the water like a little girl.

"But Hazza it's soooo cold!" He shouts.

"You have to do it Lou it's one of the rules" I direct him.

He shoots me a dirty look. He stands right in front of me grabs me and tosses me over his shoulder.

"Louis! Louis! Don't you dare!" I yell pounding on his back.

"Well it was my dare" he says and leaps into the pool.

I come up out of the water and everyone is laughing.

"Oh you guys think its funny" I say and splash them all with a tsunami of water.

"Sorry Em, couldn't resist" Louis says hugging me.

"Yeah whatever Lou" I say and head toward the steps.

I step out and Niall is there greeting me.

"C'mon Em that was pretty funny" he says.

"Yeah" I say and push him in the pool.

He comes up and laughs.

"Now that was funny" I laugh.

"Common in the water's fine!" Louis shouts to everyone else.

"Yeah Em common in please" Niall says quietly and only I hear.

I sit down on the edge of the pool and he holds my waist and guides me in. Liam and Zayn take off their shirts and jump in. Next Harry and Kiki hold hands and jump in as well. They make such a cute couple. I've already started to make up with the perfect couple name for them: Karry.

"Niall I have a perfect idea" I say to him.

"What" he asks.

"I have some water balloons upstairs we could sabotage them!"

"Perfect let's go."

"Hey we'll be right back" I yell to the other boys and run inside dragging Niall behind me before they can question me.

We run up the stairs and into my apartment. I go into the kitchen and open a drawer and find the balloons. We start filling them up until we've used half the bag. We pile them into two buckets.

"Common lets go before they come back up" I say trying to hurry.

"Do we have to go back down now..." Niall pouts holding my waist.

"Well it depends" I say.

He meets my lips. I can never stop admiring how we fit together so perfectly. A smile comes across my face. I pull away and tuck my head under his chin.

"Ok let's go ambush them now" I pull away from his grasp and look out the widow everyone was lounging on the chairs. Perfect.

We hurried down the stairs and sneaked behind the door. As soon as we opened it we pegged them with water balloons. They all started screaming and shielding themselves behind the chairs. Louis finally got the courage to make his way toward us when we were half way out of balloons. We stopped throwing them for about 2 seconds which was a huge mistake. Before we knew it Harry snatched the bucket from my hands and Louis the same to Niall.

They started pelting balloons at us and me and Niall jumped in the pool to get away from the incoming bullets. They eventually ran out and everyone joined us in the pool.

"What do you guys wanna do now?" I asked.

"Chicken fight!" Zayn yells.

"You're on Mr. Malik!"

Next thing I know I'm sitting on Liam's shoulders. He has hold of my knees and Kiki is on Harry's shoulders. Zayn on Niall's.

"I'll be the ref for this round" Louis says.

"Are sure Lou?" Kiki aks.

"Yes love, you guys have fun."

"Ok. Lets do this!"

"On your mark!" Louis says in a slow deep voice "Begin!"

I go directly for Zayn. Our hands lock and I push with all my strength to try to knock him over. I see him starting to lose balance so I take advantage and push towards his left side since its his non dominant side and he falls into the water. Me and Liam cheer victoriously when I'm pushed forward from behind me. I totally forgot about Kiki and Harry! The water surrounds me and when I come up Niall comforts me on his bare chest. Even with the cold water running down his chest he is still so warm.

"Awwww look at the two love birds" Louis says and I blush.

"You know you're cute when you blush" Niall whispers in my ear and that makes me even more pink than I already am and Niall laughs to himself.

"Ok you two we're going upstairs. Feel free to join us if you would like" Louis says and everyone follows him out of the pool.

We laugh and get out together and hold hands all the way up to the apartment. We are a little bit behind everyone else and Niall stops.

"Is something wrong?" I ask him.

"No" he says smiling.

"What?" I laugh.

"Just wondering if you wanted to go out tonight?"

"Of course Nialler" I say cupping my hands onto my cheeks.

A relieved look comes across his face and he smiles. I wrap him in a hug and he squeezes me tight. He unlocks his arms from behind my back and we intertwine our hands. We walk into the apartment and everyone turns to us.

"Where have you two young lovers been" Liam asks raising an eyebrow.

"Oh nowhere... Niall just asked me out that's all..." I say acting like its no big deal.

"Oh Emma I'm so happy for you" Kiki squeals and runs up to me and wraps me in a hug.

"Thank you Kiki" I say hugging her back.
