Chapter 5 Too Close For The Liking

"And what exactly are you trying to say Aster" said Jaden teeth gritted together.

Aster pinched the bridge of his nose letting out an exosted sigh and shrugging his shoulders.
"How exactly do you want me to say it Jaden Yuki? You and I were both apart of their group and are both well aware how dangerous they could be, and yet you insist on keeping this abomination around which will only lead up to putting yourself and all you care about in danger".

"Do me a favor and keep your thoughts and opinions to yourself Aster" Jaden snarled pointing a finger at Aster's face.

Unable to stand being in the same room as him Jaden grabbed ahold of Yubel's hand and dragged him out of the room.

The Head Master sighed hopelessly holding onto his head with both hands.

"This was not how I intended things to go".

Aster rolled his eyes at that remark.

"Whatever Yuki does with the child is no longer my concern...I played my role now he has to finish his..."

The Head Master said no more for he knew Aster spoke the truth.

No matter how rocky his road maybe, Jaden Yuki can no longer run from the path that had been laid out before him long ago....

Meanwhile else when...

Yubel was struggling to keep on his toes as Jaden continued to drag him through the corridors of the duel academy. Yubel himself had only been half listening but from what Jaden and the weird men had been speaking about before made him think that maybe he himself was the source of Jaden's anger.

Maybe it was all his Fault...

Suddenly a painful pulse rang through out Yubel's entire body stinging both it and his mind.

"AH!" Yubel cried.

His tiny hand slipped out of Jaden's hand and he fell to the floor wrapping his arms tightly around his stomach.

Jaden sprung round to see Yubel on his knees weezing while holding onto his stomach crying in pain.

"Yubel!" Jaden cried he too dropping down onto his knees trying his best to comfort the child.

Yubel began coughing and hacking up large mouthfuls of blood. Until the floor under them looked like a red puddle of blood.

("This is no good, he's in pain. Like before, but what can I do to stop it?").

Just like he had done before Jaden embraced the child. Holding onto him tightly while rubbling his back and whispering calming words to him until it had passed.

Once it had passed Jaden took the took Yubel to a nearby bathroom and told him to stay there until he had cleaned up the mess on the floor.

It took some time but once there was no longer red on the duel academy floors Jaden returned to the bath as promised, lifting Yubel up onto the sinks he cleaned him up and was about to head back out the bathroom door when he noticed that Yubel had yet to hop down from the sink.

"J-Jaden do we have to go meet those people?" Yubel asked weakly as he stared at his feet swinging from the sink.
"Sadly yes, they may be able to help us with this sickness of yours. Plus if we play our cards right they may stop bothering us" he snorted walking over and lifting Yubel down from the sink himself.

Yubel looked down at the floor feeling tears creep back out his eyes when Jaden suddenly hugged him around his shoulders.

"I promise if it's to much, we will leave right away",
Yubel nodded his head agianst Jaden's shirt as he then pulled apart from him taking Yubel's hand once agian.

Alexis was sitting in Chazz's dorm with the gang anxiously waiting for Jaden to arrive worried that he had broken his promise.
The door opened and everyone turned around to see the famous run away slacker at the door with the little kid.

Jaden didn't feel so comfortable as everyone rushed over yo welcome him, especially his biological younger sister Blair who yet agian let her excitement get the better of her and tackled Jaden in the stomach. Close to knocking him over and startling Yubel making him yelp out in surprise hiding behind the sofa.

It got even worse when his former Girlfriend Alexis Rhodes shying cans over to him as everyone stepped aside giving the pair some room.

She stepped way too close for Jaden's comfort and from the look she was giving him, she was hesitating both the thought and urge to hug him.

Sick of the waiting and uncomfortable  silence Jaden placed his hands on his hips and rolled his eyes.

"If your gonna do it, then just do it already" he muttered trying best to keep the venom in his voice to a hidden limit.

Alexis jumped startled by Jaden's words but did as she wanted and wrapped her arms around his waist m, enjoying the warmth of his body knowing before all too long that this moment in her life would vanish from her.

Once all the the unpleasant mushy huggy stuff was done and gone Jaden plumped himself down on the closet sofa ignoring and dodging the unsatisfying questions of where he had been, what he had been doing and the most pain in the ass one to him at the moment.

"Are you and Alexis still a thing?"

Yubel crawled out from behind the sofa and sat down on the floor right beside Jaden's legs.

Glaring daggers up at the blonde girly bimbo who sat way too close to Jaden for his comfort.

It was obvious she was still strongly smitten for Jaden.
Her eye contact was always on him, the not understanding of personal space, touching and feeling and dont even get him started with the stupid red cheeks and smile she had on her face.

Noticing Yubel's facial movements from the corner of his eye, Jaden gave Yubel a not too hard nudge to tell the lad off and to behave himself.

The sooner this ended the better....
