After being gone for months Jaden Yuki has returned back to the Duel academy, but he is not alone. Yubel a young boy who used to be an evil spirit is alive and is still far from being a normal human boy. Some old friends of Jaden's dark past want to bring harm to the boy and steal the powers he has now regained. Although unable to keep himself and others safe from these gifts Jaden has become his protector and is willing to do anything to keep the child safe even if it means breaking the hearts of loved ones.
