The battle was over, the war isn't even close

Alex's P.o.V

We went in on hiding for months.  Leo's father kept sneaking out at night.  I followed him sometimes.  Overhearing plans.  Sometimes they spoke a different language I couldn't understand.  It might have been a language that no one spoke anymore.  The was smart on they're part.  Leo and I spent more time with each other as long as we couldn't go out.  we finally gave up on waiting.  We sent everyone back out after a year and a half of waiting.  Nothing happened.  Well....one thing did.

"Leo!  Wheres Lucy!" I shout.

"She's in her room!" He shouts from the dinning room.

I go over to Lucy's room and peek in.  I smile.  I finally might get a full night of sleep.  She was sleeping peacefully in her crib holding her stuffed bunny.  She was adorable.  She was 2 months old.  She had just learned to crawl and can't talk yet.  But we're getting there.  She was my pride and joy.  Leo and I had to hold off the wedding plans because of this little nugget.  She just came out of nowhere and poof!  We have a 2 month old daughter.  I quietly shut the door.  I walk over to the dinning room.

"She asleep?" he asks as I sit down.

"We might get a full night of sleep!" I say happily.

"Don't jinx it," he says laughing.

I start to hear crying.

"Told ya," he says laughing.

"Ugh.  I tried," I say getting up.

"I'll come with you," he says also getting up and coming with me.

We walk over to Lucy's room but there isn't any crying.

"maybe she stopped?" Leo says hesitantly.

"Lucy isn't like that..." I say worried.

"Maybe she had a nightmare?" he suggests.

"Wait..." I start.

My eyes shoot back at the door and I throw it open.  I look over at the crib.  My eyes widen, starting to cry but hold back all the tears.  It was empty.  And I had a good feeling of who took her.  I look back at Leo.  This is the feeling.  I knew he was going to try something.  This was Flynn's plan all along.  To steal my only child.  He would pay for it.  He would pay for everything that he had done to me.  To my family.

AUTHORS NOTE:

So sorry it's this short!  But I'm having a writers block all week and I needed to get another chapter out.  I know what your thinking.  "Meliawrites?  getting a chapter out a week from the last one!?!  that's so late!"  I know, I know.  It is really off the charts for me.  But I got nothing and I didn't want to move it really fast.  But I kinda did so I could get into what the book really is about.  Soooo Now his is where I let Lucy tell the story.  And where we say goodbye to Alex and her friends for a while.  Now keep a look-out for the next chapters!  Bye!
