Returned Finn Mikaelson, didn't have time to say anything when he entered the house, when a blur pressed into his chest, clinging at him like a monkey. Finn hugged him back, placing a kiss on his nephew's head.

"I've heard from Lucien, that you're responsible for my rescue," gratefully smiled down Finn. "Thank you."

"That's what family's for, Uncle Finn. Welcome back," smiled back Rian.

"Brother," it was Freya's turn to hug him, he gladly reciprocated. "They didn't hurt you, did they?"

Rian wanted to smack himself silly, for dismissing the possibility, his uncle seemed fine so he didn't pester him.

"I'm fine, sister. Brothers" greeted Finn Kol and Niklaus. "Davina," he nodded his head, ever stoic.

"Welcome back, Finn," smiled Davina, her pleasant smile thawing Finn's neutral facial expression.

"Where's Hope?" question was directed towards Niklaus, but Rian answered him.

"She left with Alaric and Landon. Dunno where," shrugged Rian, annoyed that he was left behind.

Finn frowned but dropped the matter.

"Well, I'm glad you're back Uncle Finn, but I've got school, so..." shrugged Rian and vanished from his spot. Finn shook his head fondly, used to his nephew's antics and predilection to show off.

"Did he just perform a disspacement spell without even muttering a spell?" asked Freya, gaping at the empty space. Disspacement was a particular brand of magic that dealt with moving objects through space or teleporting oneself or someone else.

"He loves to show off," smirked Finn, looking at Niklaus, who had a very out-of-character facial expression, at least for Niklaus. Finn couldn't imagine how hard it must be for his little brother, to find out you have a son that you forgot.

"Hey, Rian," greeted Josie, giving him one of her brilliant smiles. "Is everything okay?"

"Yeah. Excellent actually. Lucien kept his word and returned Uncle Finn to us. I actually wanted to thank him, but I can't quite find him. Probably left to howl on moon or something," shrugged Rian.
