Tsukuyomi Volume 5: Rise Of Sin Tzu (MHA X DC)

Chapter Four - Evening The Odds

As Sin Tzu's forces mobilize across the city, Batman and Tokoyami venture through the city as a reconnaissance force. Joining them are Aizawa and Red X. On top of a sky scrapper, Batman sees a small force with a battalion and some drone vehicles. 

Tokoyami: What are we dealing with?

Batman: A small battalion armed with military grade weapons and drone vehicles. 

Red X: That's it? I thought Sin Tzu was gonna bring a larger force. Looks like he's getting a little cocky. 

Aizawa: Unlikely. I doubt Sin Tzu would go through all this trouble just to bring a small fighting force.

Batman continued to survey the area. The battalion had set up a base of operations near a factory for Support Items. Batman took interest in this. 

Tokoyami: What could the mercenaries want with this Support Factory. 

Batman: I don't know, but I intend to find out. 

Tokoyami: What's our move?

Batman: Evening the odds. 

In the mercenary camp, the commander contacts Sin Tzu via a communicator. 

Mercenary Commander: We've taken the Support Factory as instructed. We've encountered no resistance. 

Sin Tzu(Communicator): Very good commander. The items in this factory will greatly benefit this invasion. Be on your guard. The Heroes that still reside in this city may be making their move. 

Mercenary Commander: Copy sir.

As the commander ended the call with Sin Tzu, he relayed Sin Tzu's orders to the rest of the mercenaries in the camp. Meanwhile, Red X made his way inside the camp. 

Red X: Too easy. Now where are those snipers?

Red X looks around from his hiding spot and sees sniper towers set up around the camp. Red X smirks from beneath his mask. As he uses his Shadow Jump Quirk to get behind the first sniper. 

Red X: Hey jackass!

As Red X called out the sniper, he turns around. Before he could alert the other mercenaries in the camp, Red X knocks him out. Red X proceeds to take out the rest of the snipers. As Red X takes out the snipers, Batman sneaks into the camp and makes his way to the terminal controlling the drones. 

Batman: If I can hack into the terminal, I can turn those drones against one another. 

Batman then pulls out his Cryptographic Sequencer and began hacking the terminal. Batman was able to hack the terminal with little problem. Now he had the drones under his control. Outside the camp, Tokoyami and Aizawa saw Red X take out the snipers.

Aizawa: Snipers are down. 

Tokoyami: Good. Now it falls on us. 

With that being said, Tokoyami and Aizawa made their way to the camp and stealthily took out the mercenaries one by one. Eventually, the mercenary commander noticed the silence and realized what was going on. 

Mercenary Commander: Men! On me! We have enemies in the camp! 

But as the remaining mercenaries gathered around the commander, Red X uses his Shadow Jump to take down a couple of mercenaries. Tokoyami and Aizawa take down the commander's personal guard. He soon found himself surrounded by the strike force.

Tokoyami: This occupation is over. 

Mercenary Commander: Is that so? I hope that your Quirks can deal with these drones! 

The mercenary commander then pulls out a remote and activates the drones. As the drones readied their weapons, Batman activates his counter measures. Immediately, the drones began unloading on one another. Soon, the drone fleet is completely wiped out. 

Mercenary Commander: What?! How?!

Batman: You overconfidence was your weakness. Tell us what we need to know about Sin Tzu. 

The mercenary then laughs as he removes his body armor, revealing a small Titan tank on his back. Before the others could react, the commander pressed the button on his chest which began pumping Titan into him. His body made the painful transformation into a hulking monster. 

Red X: Well that isn't good. 

Tokoyami: Keep your distance! Don't let him grab you!

Batman: Keep him occupied!

Mercenary Commander: DIE!!!

The Titan enhanced commander then begins throwing punches at the Heroes. Red X dodges the attacks by using Shadow Jump while Aizawa attempts to wrap the crazed commander's legs with his Combat Scarves. 

Mercenary Commander: YOU THINK THAT'S GONNA DO ANYTHING?! NICE TRY LITTLE MAN!

The commander then grabs the Combat Scarves wrapped around his leg and yanks Aizawa towards him. As he was about to clothesline him, Tokoyami sends Dark Shadow to attack him. 

Tokoyami: Are you okay Mr. Aizawa?!

Aizawa: I'll live!

Red X: This guy is really starting to piss me off! Where does Sin Tzu find these meatheads!

While they fend off against the commander's attack, Batman manuevers around the camp and flanks around the commander. When he sees an opportunity, Batman jumps on his back and sprays some explosive gel on the tank. The commander then grabs Batman and throws him to the ground. 

Mercenary Commander: STUPID LITTLE FUCKING BAT! I'LL BREAK YOU IN TWO!

Batman: Unlikely. 

Batman then detonates the explosive gel and the tank explodes. This causes the Titan to leak out and the commander slowly reverts back to his regular form. As he tries to get up, Tokoyami commands Dark Shadow to restrain him. 

Tokoyami: Tell us everything about Sin Tzu?

Mercenary Commander: Fuck you! Go to hell! I'm not telling you shit!

Red X: Maybe that Titan shit is already getting to his brain. Or maybe he's just a fucking idiot. 

Tokoyami: I won't ask again, tell us what you know about Sin Tzu?

The mercenary remained silent. Batman then walked over to the weakened commander. The effects of the Titan were minor, but were made apparent. Batman looked to the destroyed machine on his back and saw a portion of the tank still intact.

Batman: Do you know what happens when you overdose on Titan? You slowly lose your mind as you become a mindless monster. Eventually, your body snaps under the pressure and you go into cardiac arrest. 

Tokoyami and Aizawa knew first hand of what too much Titan could do. They saw this on Silver Monkey. Batman then detached the tube on the destroyed tank and onto the damaged one. He then turned the dial on the commander's chest all the way. 

Batman: I think a demonstration is in order. 

The commander didn't know the full extent of the Titan. He didn't know what too much of it could do for him. The commander quickly relents. 

Mercenary Commander: Wait! Wait! I'll tell you where he is! He's at the compound east of here! It's in Tatooin Station! That's all I know.

Batman: Thank you. But if I have to come back for you, I'll break the other arm. 

Mercenary Commander: The other.....

Without warning, Batman snaps the mercenary's arm. As he screams in pain, Batman knocks him out.  

Red X: Well that was quick. So much for loyalty. 

Tokoyami: If we can find Sin Tzu, we can end this invasion before it causes too much damage. 

With that information known, the Heroes now had an opportunity to find Sin Tzu and end his invasion. But as they returned to UA to formulate a plan, Sin Tzu was already making his moves.
