Tsukuyomi Volume 5: Rise Of Sin Tzu (MHA X DC)

Chapter Three - The Enemy Advances

Twenty four hours have passed since Sin Tzu issued his declaration of war. The Pro Heroes have managed to evacuate the city and issued a lockdown of the city. The only ones left are the Pro Heroes and the League Of Villains who remain unaccounted for. The students of Class 1-A have been evacuated on Batman's orders. Soon, the Heroes meet up at UA. 

Aizawa: Have the evacuations finished?

Batman: I've just received word from Oracle that the last bus has exited the city. The city is now in total lockdown. 

Tokoyami: Now it's up to us to stop Sin Tzu. 

Hawks: So what's the plan? We wait for Sin Tzu to make his move? 

Batman: That's the best we can do. I'm having Oracle scanning the city for any mobilized forces coming into the city. 

Nightwing: I'm sure she'll find something. 

Death Arms: That doesn't seem like a logical idea. It seems we're just waiting for him to attack. We have the city on lockdown. Even if Sin Tzu can get his forces into the city, we'd be able to push them back.

Batman: Don't underestimate Sin Tzu. He's extremely dangerous and his Quirk is even more dangerous. 

Snipe: What Quirk does he have? There's no report on his Quirk if he even has one. 

Batman: Oracle has searched up every possible lead on Sin Tzu and his Quirk. We've only been able to come up with a name: Battle Mediation. Tokoyami experienced it firsthand. 

Tokoyami then recalls at how when he was confronted by Sin Tzu, he was stopped dead in his tracks and was unable to move.

Tokoyami: He had me completely paralyzed. I couldn't move even an inch. He could've killed me if he wanted to, but he didn't. 

Upon hearing this, some of the Pro Heroes were stunned at this revelation. They had heard rumors and legends about Sin Tzu and his power, but to hear about it from a first hand account stunned them further.

Batman: Based on accounts of his battles, I've concluded that Battle Meditation empowers the battle prowess of both himself and his forces while doing the opposite to his opponents. 

Nightwing: And mixed with this guy's sound military mind, it looks like this Battle Mediation is gonna be quite the problem. 

Robin: The Titans are ready for this fight!

As Batman and the rest of the Pro Heroes laid out a plan for dealing with Sin Tzu, Tokoyami did the same with the Teen Titans. 

Beast Boy: So what are we waiting for?! Let's go find this Sin Tzu and kick his sorry butt!

Artemis immediately smacks him across the head. 

Artemis: We don't even know where he is! And even if we did, did you not hear what Batman just said?! We don't even know the full extent of his Battle Mediation Quirk!

Starfire: On my planet, our military leaders fought swiftly and decisively. They were known to be brilliant strategists and powerful warriors. It seems this Sin Tzu fights with the same kind of attributes. 

Robin: Based on what Batman said, it looks like we're in for quite a fight. Cyborg! You pick up anything?

Cyborg: No. Comms have gone silent. Looks like the comms being jammed. 

Upon hearing that, Tokoyami and the Titans immediately realize the potential threat of this. Starfire was the first to speak of the threat.

Starfire: A communications disruption can mean only one thing: invasion. 

Tokoyami: She's right. Sin Tzu is making his move. It's only a matter of time before he announces it. 

Beast Boy: What makes you think he'll announce it? Nobody's dumb enough to.....

Before Beast Boy could finish his comment, loud feedback was heard throughout the city. Tokoyami and the Teen Titans rushed outside along with Batman and the Pro Heroes. When they get outside, the large TV on one of the skyscrapers played a live broadcast of Sin Tzu. 

Sin Tzu(Broadcast): Heroes. You have made your choice. 24 hours ago, I gave you all the chance to leave the city. Yet the Heroes of this city remains. Your choice is made. As I speak, my forces are making their way to the city to unleash their power on you all. There is no hope for you. Defeat is all that you will know. To the criminals and Villains who still reside in the city, you may do as you wish. Pillage to your heart's desire. But if you stand against us, you will die. To the Heroes foolish enough to remain, war is upon you all. My forces will sweep across this city like a purging flame. You will be shown no mercy. You will fall. Fight as you will, but you will fail. This is your only warning. Now I am left with no other choice but to destroy you. As you fall one by one, know that from the ashes from the old world, a new world will rise. The war has begun. 

When the broadcast ended, all the Heroes were stunned into silence. In that moment, the war had begun. 

Red X: Looks like Sin Tzu's ready. 

As Red X said that, explosions were heard in the distance. Everyone quickly realized that this was the start of Sin Tzu's war. 

Tokoyami: It's begun. Sin Tzu has made the first move. 

Batman: We've made all the necessary preparations. Now it's time for us to fight this war. 

In that moment, the remaining Heroes that stayed behind were now effectively soldiers against Sin Tzu's war. Not only did they have to contend with the formidable Battle Meditation Quirk, but also the formidable military mind of Sin Tzu.
