The next morning Jungkook was waiting by his locker. He had already gotten his stuff and was waiting for Taehyung to walk him to class.

He had been waiting for five minutes already and normally Taehyung was there right away. He startef to worry.

After another five minutes he decided to head to class and ask Jihyo if she knew anything.

As he walked into class he felt a hand stop him from going inside.
He turned around with a smile thinking it was going to be Taehyung. He was wrong.

There was an angry Jackson looking at him with a black eye.

"You better tell your friend to not mess with me again because I won't go easy on him."

At that Jackson walked towards his seat, not speaking to anyone.

What friend is he even talking about? Who would do that?

Jungkook then heard a few students talking "Did u hear Jackson got beat up?"

"Yeah I heard it was that alien guy. I think his name is Taesung or something like that."

"Someone said that Jackson didn't have a chance. The alien was way to strong for him."

Jungkook's eyes widened. Did Taehyung beat up Jackson? Was that why he didn't walk him to class? Was he ok?

He made is way to his seat next to Jihyo. As he was about to ask her if she knew anything, the teacher started the lesson. Which meant he would be stuck worrying about Taehyung for the whole class.

After the class Jungkook expected to see Taehyung waiting outside to bring him to his next class but when he made his way out the door, he was nowhere to be seen.

And that went on the rest of the day. Taehyung hadn't shown up to any of Jungkook's classes, which made him extremely worried.

When it was lunch time, Jungkook quickly made his way to the lunchroom. He knew that Taehyung had to at least eat and he would not be ignored anymore.

As he got to his friends table he saw the boy he had been looking for the whole day.

"Tae! I was so worried." Jungkook said rushing to sit next to the said boy. He was looking over Taehyung just go make sure he wasn't hurt at all. "When you didn't come to my locker this morning I thought something had happened. Well maybe something did happen because Jackson said you beat him up?"

Taehyung shyly laughed while rubbing the back of his neck. "Um yeah. You seemed upset yesterday and no one should make you feel that way so I had to do something."

Jungkook smacked his arm while whining "You didn't have to beat him up!"

This caused Taehyung to look away, think Jungkook was mad at him.

"But thank you he did kinda deserve it." Jungkook quickly added.

Taehyung smiled at that and stared into Jungkook's eyes. Which made Jungkook blush, looking away quickly.

The two were then wrapped into the conversation at that table.

"Yoongiiii" Jimin whined "please can a have a piece of your cookie? It looks so good."

At first Yoongi glared at Jimin but then saw the pout on his lips and gave in "Ugh fine. Here you go."

Jimin gave him a big hug and smiled widely. "Thanks Yoonie."

Jihyo then started complaining about one of her classes but Jungkook had started to zone out, not so subtly staring at Taehyung with heart eyes.

His eyes drifted from his hair to his face and towards his neck. There he saw something that caused deja Vu.

"Taehyung what is that on your skin?"

Taehyung looked towards Jungkook with widened eyes.
"Um I was born with it."

Jungkook shook his head, "No I know that. All of your kind have them. But I feel like I've seen it before." He said while staring deeply at the tattoo-like marking on Taehyung's neck.

"What do you mean you've seen it before?"

"I don't know I just have this feeling. I don't know what it is." Jungkook responded, trying to figure out where he had seen the mark before.

Jihyo had heard the conversation and looked at Taehyung. She saw how he was struggling with Jungkook not remembering him but she wasn't sure why he hadn't told Jungkook yet.

"Hey Jungkook, I have a question about one of our classes." Jihyo said trying to help Taehyung out.

Jungkook looked away from Taehyung's neck and towards her. "Oh sure, what's your question?"

"I just didn't know how to do this problem. It was confusing and you seemed-"

Jungkook was trying to listen but was distracted when he felt Taehyung get up from next to him. He watched the boy quickly walk out of the lunchroom.

Taehyung

After leaving lunch, Taehyung made his way to his locker.

"Taehyung! Wait up!"

He turned around to see Jihyo running after him.

"Why'd you leave?" She said as she caught up to him. "Was it because of what Jungkook said?"

Taehyung sighed and looked away, "Yeah it was. I just don't know how to tell him. I want him to find out for himself because I feel like if I tell him he won't believe me."

Jihyo scrunched her eyes together "Why would he not believe you?"

"If he even remembered who I was, then he would have already talked to me about it already. So it's obvious he has no memories of me. I mean it was a long time ago." Taehyung replied defeatedly.

Jihyo patted his shoulder in encouragement "It's ok Taehyung. Even if he doesn't remember you, he still likes you a lot."

"You think so?" He said hopefully.

"Yes. Yes I do."
