The next morning at school Jungkook ran like his life depended on it. He had a package gripped tightly in his hand and went straight past his own locker.

Jungkook turned a corner and his smile got wide when he saw the person he was looking for.

When he made it to the boy he jumped onto him, his arms circling around the boys neck. The two almost toppled to the ground but the boy stabilized them by wrapping his arms around Jungkook's waist.

Jungkook hugged Taehyung for a good few seconds before saying anything but he then whispered into his ear, "I can't believe I forgot you."

This surprised Taehyung, even more then the tight hug he had just received.

Taehyung let go of Jungkook, "what do you mean kook?"

But Jungkook didn't reply. All he did was stick his hand out which caused Taehyung to notice that he had been holding something the whole time.

After seeing what was in Jungkook's hand, Taehyung's eyes went wide and he scooped Jungkook into another hug. This time lifting him off the ground.

"Oh my God. You remember. I don't have to hide it anymore." Taehyung said relieved.

Jungkook laughed still in Taehyung's arms but he wasn't complaining. "Why didn't you just tell me Tae?"

At that Taehyung finally let Jungkook down but still kept an arm around his waist. "I didn't think you would believe me. You had to remember on our own."

"I guess you're right. Why would I believe a random guy telling me that I knew him when I was little? That would just be crazy." Jungkook replied sarcastically.

Taehyung laughed "yeah I wouldn't have trusted me either." He then grabbed the package from Jungkook's hand. "And thanks for the goldfish. I haven't been able to have then since that night."

Taehyung opened the goldfish and took out a handful to eat.

"You're welcome. I guessed you missed them."

"I didn't only miss the goldfish. I missed you too." Taehyung said looking lovingly at Jungkook.

Jungkook saw this and blushed, "I missed you too, even if I didn't know it."

The two hugged once again, wanting to be close to eachother. They only broke apart when the bell rang.

Taehyung sighed, "Come on let's get you to class." He let go of Jungkook's waist to grab his hand.

Jungkook blushed when he realized they were holding hands and walked with Taehyung to his class.

The rest of the day went by normally. Well almost normally.

Taehyung still walked Jungkook to all of his classes but now he had started holding his hand everytime. This meant that Jungkook was in a constant state of blushing. His face had been red since this morning.

The two held hands on their way to lunch and when they made it to their table, they received looks from their friends.

"What's going on here?" Jihyo was the first to ask.

Taehyung and Jungkook sat down next to each other. "Its nothing, nothing happened -" Jungkook started to say.

"He remembers" is all Taehyung said. Now letting go of Jungkook's hand to put it on the other boys thigh.

"What?! Really? Oh my God that's great!" Jihyo yelled excitedly.

Jin, Yonngi, and Hoseok all smiled at Taehyung understanding what he was talking about. They were happy for him.

But Jungkook's best friends were very confused.

Jimin spoke up, "Wait what do you mean he remembers?"

This time Jungkook was the one to answer. "Do you remember last night when I had you guys go home really quickly?"

"Yeah?" Jimin said confused.

"Well that's because I remembered how I knew Taehyung's mark." Jungkook said while looking up at Taehyung with a smile. "We met on the night of the crash. He was in my tree house really scared and I was determined to be his friend. It was so long ago I forgot and I think my dad was a part of the problem too. He didn't want me to remember, so he never spoke of it."

"So you guys have met before?" Namjoon asked starting to understand.

"Yup. We have and I don't plan on having him forget me anymore." Taehyung replied happily.

Taehyung and Jungkook then looked at each other and got lost in their own little world.

"Is that the only thing that happened? Because you guys seem extremely close now." Yoongi asked convinced the two had confessed their feelings towards eachother.

Jungkook was back to being red, understanding what Yoongi had thought. "Uh no, nothing else has happened. We just really close friends now." He said sheepishly.

But he then felt an arm wrap around his waist, just like this morning. He could get used to that, it felt comforting.

Jungkook looked at Taehyung again to see him already starring at him.

"Well the friend part might change soon. You never know what could happen." Taehyung said with a wink.

Jungkook quickly looked away with yet another blush on his face.
