The rest of the day went by in a blur. And before I knew it I was on my way home. Or at least what I called 'home'. I walked past the school parking lot and watched as every car zoomed out besides one silver volvo. I looked at it curiously but decided it was prbably nothing. After all, it probably was nothing.
I walked down the peaceful road, alone with my thoughts and having nothing better to do than watch the sun sink below the trees. All in all, it was a pretty good first day. Lunch wasn't what I expected at all. I expected to grab my food and find myself in a bathroom stall eating quietly and alone. But instead I found myself being interrogated by super models. Besides that weird twist of events, everything went by exactly as I thought it would.
I sighed in relief when the abandoned warehouse I was residing in, came into view. Sparky, a small stray dog, I found inside the warehouse ran up to me in greeting. Licking my jeans furiously. When I first found him he was less than excited about sharing his space with me. But now it was near impossible to get rid of the tiny thing. Whoever heard of a clingy puppy? I have no idea where he was getting his food but appeared to be well fed so it wasn't something I let myself worry about. Stealing a bag of dog food would have proved far more difficult than a pencil case.
I opened the large doors and slipped inside, shutting them behind and walking over to my study area. The entire place was coated in a thick layer of dust when I first moved in. And it still was besides my sleeping area and study area. I dropped my bag on the pile of crates I used as a desk and flopped down on the sleeping bag on the floor.
Exhaustion came easily to me, and i soon found myself drifting off into the dream world.
"Do you think it could be her?" A feminine voice fluttered in my ears and aroused me from my slumber. I opened my eyes slowly and noticed four shadows along the wall. My entire body tensed as I realized they must have been standing behind me. I shiver slightly but decided it would be best if they thought I were asleep.
"Yes! She has the locket! The same locket! I'd recognize it anywhere!" A frustrated male voice echoed.
"Shhh! You might wake her!" A light and friendly voice hushed, throwing a blanket of silence over the room.
"I must admit Bella, she does look an awful lot like you." A calm and authoritative voice spoke.
Who the hell were these people? Fear struck me senseless as a thought reared its ugly head. What if these were the people that kidnapped me? I shuddered at the thought. I would willingly die before I went with them. The memories of what they did fresh in my mind as if they happened only yesterday. Everyday they would strap me to a table and stab several needles into my frail skin. Injecting god knows what into my blood stream.
All I know, is that it changed me for the worst.
"Maybe we should just wake her up and talk to her?" That same friendly voice questioned. A silence was shared among the group. I took this as my chance to escape. I jumped up and spun around, surprise grasping me as I saw who it was.
I looked at the two familiar faces, struggling to remember there names. Ella? No, Bella! Bella and Edward! That was it! Two of supermodels that interrogated me at lunch. With them were two others, that looked far older than them, mid thirties perhaps?
"The hell' are you doing in my house?" I asked, taking a step back towards the wall.
