Guys, this book is literally a mess. I just read over it, and I have no idea why any of you want me to continue it xD But I suppose I owe you guys a chapter, as someone commented, it's been two freaking years and I left yall on a cliffhanger. Don't worry, I've already slapped myself. But because this story is so terrible, I can't promise that you'll see another chapter anytime soon... Sorry :( I'm just not as into writing as I was when I started this story.

But I hope you enjoy this chapter! <3<3<3

Chapter Ten

Bitter Reunion

He slowed the car as he drove up a dirt driveway leading to a massive white mansion. One of the garage doors opening, he pulled the car inside and turned off the ignition. My heart was beating a mile a minute. I can't outrun them, I can't fight them, I can't even hide from them. So what options does that leave me? Far less than I would like.

Edward got out of the car, and for a brief moment, I actually considered jumping into the driver's seat and driving the hell out of here. The idiot even left the keys in the ignition. But before I even have time to undo my seatbelt, Edward is already opening my door and waiting for me to get out. I glare up at him and then spare a glance over my shoulder. The garage door is still open, there's still a chance that I could-

"Please don't try to run." he sighs. I shift my glare back to him, slightly confused as to how he always knows what I'm thinking. "Everyone's waiting inside, I'll explain everything then."

"Before or after you torture me?" I ask, stepping out of the car.

"We just want to talk,"he says, leading me towards a small set of stairs. He walks extremely close to me, probably so that he can grab me if I do try to make another run for it.

"Listening to you is torture enough," I bite back. He doesn't say anything back, maybe because he knows it's true. We walk through the door and he leads me up another small flight of stairs. Being within such close proximity of him, alone, I can feel my entire body pulsating with the beat of my heart. There's no doubt that he can hear it beating too.

When we reach the last step and he reaches out to open the door, a thin sheen of sweat has settled over the entirety of my body. My hands are clenched so tightly at my sides that my nails are beginning to dig into the skin. I can feel the pain I'm causing myself, but I'm sure if I stop that my entire body will start trembling.

He pushes the door open, and my breath is instantly taken away. As terrified as I am, I still can't help but appreciate the beauty of the house. The wall on the far side is made entirely of glass, allowing a serene view of the forest outside. The dark emerald and warm browns of the forest almost manage to calm me some.

The further we step into the living room, the more luxurious the place seems. All the furniture, the paintings, the potted plants, the rugs, the curtains. Whoever decorated this place was a master at their craft. The house itself is massive too. I can't even imagine how much money these people spent on this place. But I manage to take some consolation from this. If I'm to die here, I'll make sure I cause as much damage as I possibly can.

What else can I do? I can't cause them pain, I can't do anything to remotely harm them. So if an extensive bill is all I can leave in my wake, then I'll make sure to wrack up as much debt for them as I can. I've already spotted a vase on a desk that looks like it would be worth quite a lot. Before I move towards it though, Bella descends the staircase that leads upstairs. When she sees me, her entire body freezes, like ice as flooded her veins.

"Oh, Edward, you didn't," she says. At first I think she says this lovingly, as if accepting a gift. But then I register the sadness that plagues her voice.

"She wasn't willing to come!" Edward says.

"So you forced her?" Bella asks.

I spare Edward a glance and notice that his attention is solely on Bella. While I'm interested in their argument, I'm far more invested in getting out of this house alive. So before he has a chance to grab me, I dash for the nearest open door I can find. It just so happens to be next to the desk with the vase. I make sure to knock it over before I slam the door shut behind me.

I hear Edward curse before I hear the vase shatter.

I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter! I'm SO SO SO sorry it took me so long to get around to writing it! Reading over it though, I feel like my writing has improved MONUMENTALLY since the last chapter. It also didn't take me too long to write this chapter, so maybe I will finish this book after all, I'm still not sure. I'll see what you guys think.

Do you think it's worth finishing?

Thanks so much for reading (if anyone is still reading this lol) I love you all!!
