Another day in their gorgeous school. Only the best for our protagonsísts! Ji Ah came extra, extra early to school because she knew when Sangjun usually arrived to school.

About an hour early. How annoying and rude of him. Making her wake up two hours before her classes start? What was she going to do in the meantime?

Just sit around and look suspicious? The teachers knew her and what time she usually would arrive for that matter. But the real question here is, why is she going through so much trouble just for someone like him?

He's just stupid and the letter likewise. With both rage and fear inside of her, she slowly raised her shaking hand and slid it in his locker.

After the deed was done she quickly looked around and left the building. Maybe sleeping a bit on campus won't hurt anyone. She exited the building and went into the park where usually they would have recess.

It was kinda cold at this hour and she couldn't afford a better jacket, sadly. Rounding the corner, she found a nice bench under a tree. One step, two steps, three steps. She was close to sitting down on the cold bench but realized something.

While having Sangjun on her mind, and hating it, she looked up and spotted her nostalgia. Right there, a bit further away was the very bench both she and Sangjun had sat down on back then.

Without a second thought she began walking to the bench they ate lunch together on. The grass was green and it was warm around them at that time but now it was cold and you could barely see the ground.

Even though she had been kind of mean, she keeps looking back at it as a memory worth keeping. A memory worth remembering. Subconsciously, she lied down on the bench while looking up.

The sky was a dark blue while you could barely see the moon go to sleep. Slightly closing her eyes and lifting one knee, the sweet embrace of sleep was welcomed. Nothing's better than killing boredom with unconsciousness.

- Um, excuse me. A student said while slightly shaking Ji Ah's shoulder.

Ji Ah suddenly jolted up in shock.

- Oh my I'm sorry for startling you, miss!

She looked at the voice's owner. You would be surprised how light it was compared to its owner. A male student, a bit taller than Ji Ah stood there before her.

He seemed younger than her but was also very handsome. Luckily, they didn't know each other and he seemed to not know who she was. Could he be new?

- It's fine, don't worry about it. She said with a warm smile to fit this autumn aesthetic.

- I know it's none of my business, but why were you sleeping out here in the cold? It's only natural for someone like me to worry.

Well, what was she supposed to reply in this situation? "Oh I just woke up an hour earlier than this guy I know so that I can put a letter that's full of my feelings in the dude's locker"?

Looking back, the situation is actually kind of awkward, don't you think? Saying that she has no home won't work either, since then rumours can begin if he hears that she's the most popular girl in school.

- I came here a bit earlier than expected. It was only a way to kill time. Thank you for worrying but I'm absolutely fine.

Faking a smile isn't something new to her. Though it's a scary act to do when the person is right in front of you.

- I can tell that you're lying. Why would the most popular girl in school arrive this early and then sleep on campus?

She began panicking and didn't know what to say. Of course he knew who she was! Who didn't?! Excuses flooded her mind and she became dizzy.

Luckily, school didn't start yet and she had only slept an hour, so no one was there except them.

- What time is it?

- Why won't you answer my question? Did you try to break in or something?

- No, just tell me the time please.

She did get quite irritated. The boy seemed nice enough at the start but now he's kinda acting like a dick.

- It's XX:XX, now tell me why you're here.

- Wait, I slept an hour! That means-

At that moment, just like a drama, the boy saw them. From across the school, from what had been a few meters felt like miles.

There, right there stood Sangjun. The school's most popular boy, school bag hanging loosely on his shoulder, fixed in eye contact with Ji Ah.

Just staring at each other was a challenge, yet neither of them broke it. Her mouth was slightly open in surprise because details about him suddenly appeared. Those details that never seemed to have ever existed.

His blonde, bleached, hair was so soft and flowy even though it was barely a breeze passing by. Eyelashes moving along with the lids and bringing out his diamond pupils.

Those diamonds that could enwrap anyone inside. A beauty so bright and so... Unapproachable.

A beauty you wouldn't even dare to look at. Ji Ah was happy, happy that she got to experience the light even if it was just for a slight moment.

The same didn't apply for Sangjun. He didn't know what he felt, having those specific eyes staring back at him.

He felt as though he wasn't lonely. In that moment, he realized something. Why he had been avoiding her. Why she had been avoiding him and in a blank second, a thought occurred.

Were we ever even friends to begin with?

Eventually the younger boy stood in front of Ji Ah and waved his hand in front of her face, making both of them snap out of it.

The boy crossed his arms over his chest as Sangjun walked briskly into the school building.

- Why would she be here this early? That's so unlike her, Sangjun whispered in confusion.

His thought disappeared as soon as it appeared when the letter in his locker swayed from side to side as it fell down to the floor.

Another one, could it be from the same person? He was confused, of course. He crouched down and picked it up, reading through it...
