Chapter 3

It's the day I get to do The X Factor hair and make up. I get up at 11 so I have a shower, brush my teeth, straighten my hair and get dressed (outfit in the picture). Kylie coloured my hair a cute dark colour. It was now 2pm so I had enough time for me and Chet to leave and pick up Demi, Chelsea and Kylie. They all pile in the back and say hi to me and Chet. When we arrive we were told where to go and we went there to set up. I didn't tell Casey as I wanted it to be a surprise when he came in. I was doing Lauren's make up having a conversation. "You smell nice, what your wearing?" She asks keeping her eyes closed "The Cheryl perfume, it's so nice" I reply smudging her eye shadow. "Peyton?" I then my head to see Casey smiling "PEYTON!" He shouts and hugs me. I stumble a bit but manage not to knock anything over "Case, mate keep it down got a head ache" Chet says squinting "Hungover are we? Look like you've been in the war. You only went out Wednesday and you've gone out again" Casey huffs and sits down. I finish with Lauren and she goes over to Kylie for hair. Chris sits down in front of me and I grab my tweezers "Wow! What you doing with them?" Chris says pushing my hand away "Babe! You have one long eyebrow. Lemme sort it out" I say pushing his head back again so the top of his head is touching my belly bar. "Case! Back off mate. I was there when Mitchell was calling Peyton names. Hence the fact I look like this" Chet spits back at Casey "Ooh! Chet to the rescue" Casey responds. It all goes quiet for a bit when I'm in the middle of putting concealer on Chris Casey shouts once again. "YOU FUCKED HER?" Pointing at me, heads turn. My eyes widen "You fucked her when you know how I feel. Chet you're such a prick. I cannot believe you" he looks at me with anger and sadness covering his facial expressions. "Did you really?" He says moving closer to me. "Case! I'm working. Go for a walk to cool off and for your information. No! I didn't ok. Chet get out and go find your seat in the arena." I say turning back to smiley kick.
It's been 1" minutes and everyone's forgotten about the incident. I'm in the middle of talking to James and laughing when all eyes focus on the figure standing in the door way. My eyes follow everyone else's and I see Casey. I finish with James and point to the chair hinting for Casey to sit down. Everyone starts talking and listening to the music again and Casey speaks up making sure no one hears "I'm sorry" "You could've got me sacked Case! Do you honestly think id sleep with your brother. Are you for real. I don't want when we're finished to happen because of what Kylie is gonna say. I might loose my job Casey. How is the fair." I say sorting his hair out. "Go get dressed I'll talk to you tomorrow. All the contestants were finished and we were loading everything into my boot when Kylie told Demi and Chelsea to get in the car while she talks to me. "Peyton! What was all that about? I know you live with one of the contestants but having one of the argue with their brother over you, seriously?" She says "Chet always says stuff to piss Casey off when he's drunk or hungover. I promise it'll never happen again. I'll talk them tomorrow I promise." I say, she hugs me and I hear Chet shout my name. We all get in the car along with Chet and go home. I drop the girls off at the hair studio and drive me and Chet home. It was uncomfortably silent. Listening my music. I turned it up louder when we were in traffic to avoid the silence or even conversation. I felt my phone vibrate and it shows Caller ID 'Casey😘'

C:Where are you? We got through. Even though Only The Young went, we for through.
P:Oh my god. Well done! I'm so proud of you. I need to go because I'm driving. I'll call you when I get back. Love you.
When we got in Chet didn't say a word. He say down on the sofa. I said hello to his parents and told them what had happened, I don't even know what their reaction was. The were happy with what Chet did for me the other night but starting on his brother, they were so annoyed. I told them I was gonna take Chet to the contestants house tomorrow so I can't talk to them both. They agreed and I left. But Chet wasn't in the living room anymore.
