I shouldn't of listened to what dad said about mum, I was so stupid to leave you and mum to be with him in Bristol. I love you so much Peyton I'm so so sorry" he cries into my head as he leans down. "I don't care what dad told you was a lie. Please just don't leave me again." I say pulling away. "Come one. We're going out! Leave these two to talk" Keith says to Chet and Tracey and they all walk out.
"What did dad tell you?" I say sitting down.
"That mum didn't want me. She only wanted a girl. She hates me and she burnt every baby picture of me" he says looking down. "That's not true. When I was 10 I caught dad burning a load of pictures. Mum was still stressed 6 years after you left. She died 2 months ago Dan!" I say crying again "Hey! I know he lied. he told me when we left to Australia. I had no idea mum died Pey! And I promise I'll never leave again. I'm even looking for a flat! Got a job at one of the really good shops in town. Discount for you' he says punching my arm gently.
About an hour after talking, Chet, Keith and Tracey came in with the 8 boys. Casey jumped on Dan! You see Casey and Daniel were best friends. Now I know where Dan got the address from. They all agreed that he could stay until he found a flat of his own. I'm so happy my family is getting back together, kind of. I mean. I love my big brother.
