After taking a shower, I quickly slipped on some blue jeans and my favourite white V line blouse.

"Avyanna, we are leaving in two minuets" I hear my mom yelling as I slipped on my heels.

Standing up, I took a quick glance in front of the mirror before grabbing my purse.

"We are leaving now Anna banana" my mom yells out once again.

I quickly opened my room door while making my way down the stairs.

"Jesus women, I'm coming" I say out loud.

"Look who dressed up" my dad comments as I smiled.

My father grabs my moms coat and slowly helped her put it on.

"You look lovely honey" my mom compliments.

"Thanks, is it to much? I really don't go out much" I rambled as my parents both chuckled.

"Sweetie, calm down. You look amazing and it's fine" my mother reassured.

"Also here's your phone" my mom adds.

"Thanks I totally forgot that you had it" I exclaimed.

"Also, Nathaniel seems to miss you a lot" my mom whispers while wiggling her eyebrows.

"Mom, you went through my phone" I say as she laughs.

"No honey, it came up and I couldn't help myself."

"Who's Nathaniel?" My father interrupts.

"He's just a friend" I stated looking at both of my parents.

"Well even if he was a friend, we will like to meet him someday" my mom insisted.

I nod gently "Okay let's this show on the road" my dad says as he claps both of his hands.

Following both of my parents I quickly opened my text messages to see what my mom saw.

Nathaniel : that's good to hear, miss seeing your beautiful face after work :(

Smiling to myself I responded back

Me: I'll call you later x

"Quick quick Avyanna" my mom says as she gets into the car.

I ran as quick as I could in my heels before jumping in the back seat.

>let's hurry up the car ride<

getting out of the car I followed my parents towards the house that we pulled into.

"So who are these people?" I asked calmly.

"Oh, you'll see" My mom says quietly as my father shakes his head.

"Why do I feel like your up to something mom" I said worriedly.

"Dad?" I added.

He shrugs and rings the doorbell.

I looked at both of my parents as they seemed a bit tense and suspiciously quiet all of sudden.

Before I could question both of them again the door opens suddenly.

Glancing quickly I knew exactly who that was.

"Ella" I mumbled as she looked straight at me.

Ella was my best friend, and by best friend I mean my best best friend. We were still keeping in contact when I moved to New York but after a year Ella stopped talking to me. She didn't reply back to my messages.
