"Thanks a lot, keep the tip" I say to the taxi driver as I grabbed my suitcase he got out of the trunk.

"No worries, enjoy your evening Miss" he says goodbye as I smiled and started walking up to my parents house.

"Seriously Avyanna, do you really think it's a good idea that you're there by yourself?" I hear Nathaniel saying over the phone as I pressed my ear against it.

"It's fine, seriously I'm okay" I assured while fishing into my purse looking for the house keys.

"Wish you could've waited till Thursday so I could've came with you" he sighs as I took the keys out and finally opened the door.

Rolling my suitcase into the house, I flicked the light switch on before stepping in and closing the door behind me.

"Everything will be fine" I said as I started walking around the living room "How's the meetings going?" I added before flinging myself down on the couch.

"You know, same shit everyday. But the deal seems promising, just a lot of negations and paper work at the moment" he says tiredly.

"You've got this" I said supportively before hearing him chuckle "I miss you" he coos softly.

"I miss you more" I responded as I grinned like an idiot.

"I hope you don't mind but I posted a photo on Instagram a few hours ago. It was a picture of us, on our first trip here to Italy" he says "I couldn't help myself."

I couldn't help but quickly put him on speaker and went on it, checking to see what the actual photo it was.

"Hello, you still there?" He asks as I looked at the picture that was taken which was him smiling at the camera while I did the same as his hand was over my shoulder.

"Yeah, cute photo" I complimented before reading the caption 'reminiscing.'

"You're going to lose all your followers after posting that" I say jokingly as he laughs lightly.

"Couldn't give two shits about it" he comments as I chuckled.

"We're okay right?" He asks in a serious tone.

"Why wouldn't we?" I questioned calmly.

Instead of getting an answer from him, he went silent.

"Jesus, Nathaniel I can hear your brain screws going crazy over here" I say jokingly "we are okay. Everything is fine" I said softly.

"Good, because I can't even think straight if I were to lose you" he says sternly.

"same goes for you too" I say being as truthful as possible.

Don't get me wrong my relationship with Nathaniel is an absolute fucken mess, I'll admit to that. But he' means everything to me, and as toxic and crazy that sounds I'll be here for him.

"I'm gonna go sleep, I'm jet lag as shit right now" I say before yawning.

"Sounds good, goodnight and I'll call you tomorrow" he says.

"okay, goodnight too" I response gently.

"Always" he says as he waited quietly for my answer knowing exactly that word meant so much to the both of us.

'always' for me and Nathaniel was another way for me and him to say 'I love you'.

"Always" I said back before ending the call.

I sigh as I stood up before taking of my coat and threw it on the chair. Leaving it there as I started walking towards the stairs where it leads to my bedroom and bathroom.

I groaned out tiredly as I got myself up out of bed, trying to figured out what the fuck was I hearing.

thump!

there it was again. I reach over and grabbed my phone looking that it was five in the morning.

I shuffled along the carpet as I walked over to the closet where I knew that a bat I got out from my father shed earlier was hidden there.

Holding onto it tightly, I clutched onto the bat as my life depended on it while opening my door before slowly down the hall where the stairs were.

Glancing around the house as the early five am morning light of the sky shines into the upstair windows.

Gripping onto the bat as the sound of creaks from every step I took seemed to get louder and louder as I was trying so hard to be as quiet as possible not alerting whoever the intruder was.

I hid behind the wall which was the hallway that was connected to the kitchen before starting a countdown in my mind.

I yelled as I jumped out of the corner with the bat swinging around towards the intruder before realising who it was.

The intruder yelled as well as he put his hands up in defence while one his earphones were dangling around - and that wasn't the only thing that was dangling if you get what I mean.

"What the fuck Levi!" I exclaimed as I glared at him with the bat still in mid air.

"Why the fuck are in you my house and why are you naked!" I asked out loud as I tried my hardest to avoid looking down below.

"Holy shit Avyanna" he says in shock, as he took the last earphone out of his ear before placing it with his phone the counter.

"Again, why are you naked and in my house!" I repeated myself as I felt my cheeks go red.

He seemed to have notice how flushed I was looking at he smirks and places both of his hands on his hips while purposely arching his hips forward making it very hard for me to not look down.

"Will you just cover yourself" I say rolling my eyes as I grabbed the apron that was the counter, throwing it him.

"Can't function properly?" He smirks as I scoff before he puts on the apron which covered him up slightly - as long as he doesn't turn around.

"I'm house sitting, you're parents said it was okay" he says "and the reason why I'm naked is because I just came back from a run and I usually strip off my dirty clothes at the laundry room before making my way up to the bathroom for a shower."

"What are you doing here?" He asks with a smile.

"I've got work stuff to handle and I guess my parents forgot to tell me you were house sitting" I say knowingly that my mom was going to get an earful for leaving this important information out.

"How long you gonna be staying?" He asks eagerly.

"Not sure yet" I say earning a grin a from him.

"Guess you're stuck with me" he says with a smirk before walking pass me making our shoulders touch one another.

"Fantastic" I replied sarcastically knowing that me and Levi underneath the same roof isn't going to be good.
