It's been a week since I've been back to New York and throughout that whole week I have been drowning in work and conference calls.
I've been bombarded by business calls after calls about the London fashion week that's going to happen in less then a month and I have to get my designs ready for it.
This was massive, before I would only have one or two of my designing pieces on the runway but now I've been given the chance to showcase an exclusive line. Which means twelve separate designs, and we haven't finished one.
"Avyanna, I need to talk to you" Dylan says as looks a bit stressed.
"Dylan, if this isn't about the designs for the fashion week I don't want to hear it" I said as I continued to look through design patterns for the outfits.
"It's important! I swear" he responses nervously.
"Let my secretary handle it" I say a bit annoyed.
"You haven't hired a secretary yet" he mumbles as I groaned making me realize that I haven't hired anyone since I've been back.
"Five minutes" I say as I gave him my full attention.
"I'm going to cut this short but the head manager at the store in Montreal quit" he says "and it seems that someone might have leaked some of your personal family issues to the media."
"What?" I say in a straight face.
He taps away on his iPad before giving it to me.
I looked over it and noticed that I was looking at a email from the former head manager saying that she had quit because she found the love of her life and has eloped to Paris for it. Then the next page was a screenshot of an article that was talking about my family. Which goes into depth with the issue between me and Aaron.
"I hope their holiday to Paris goes to shit" I said making Dylan chuckle "and how did the tabloids manage to get their hands on some information like this."
"I manage to find out that the piece of information was given out anonymously, which doesn't help at all" Dylan says.
"But the whole situation with the head manager quitting, we need to fix it asap" he adds as I nodded in agreement.
"What to do, what to do" I said repeating as I tapped my foot nervously on the floor.
"Whats the status, on our other stores? are they doing well?" I asked hoping that it is because I really did not need any surprises.
"Yeah I double checked them twice and it all seems to be at a steady pace, its just these issues were the main ones" he informs firmly.
"Hey guys," Tana greets us "there's a young girl outside claiming that she has an internship here with us, even though we don't do that" she explains.
"Shit, Kristen" Dylan curses underneath his breath completing forgetting about it.
"Kristen, as in the girl that I met at the cafe?" I questioned "Yeah that one, I was suppose to have some things ready for her but I've just been busy with the work" he says while shaking his head in disbelief.
