I was back in New York once again.
the whole plane ride back all I could think about was the kiss that me and Levi shared, and by all means I couldn't stop thinking about it.
After the dinner with Levi and meeting his ex lover, I decided that it was best if I kept my distant.
And by distant I meant letting Dylan write up a contract between both me and Levi stating that he agrees under the terms and conditions that it'll be okay for my builder to resume the renovations.
Which Dylan sent out a day later before I arrived to New York.
My parents were kind of sad for my sudden departure as they thought I'll be leaving on the weekend. But they both understand that I had to return back to work.
I haven't heard from Levi ever since that night at dinner and when he dropped me off.
On the other hand I've been avoiding Nathaniel.
He has tried to come to my office, but Dylan would lie to him telling him that I was in a meeting or he just 'missed' me. When in reality I was hiding in my office.
It was a Friday night and I was feeling a bit lonely, usually on Friday nights Nathaniel will come over and will watch a movie together or better yet enjoy each others company.
I was on the couch wrapping Toms gift that I bought for him when suddenly my door bell rang.
I looked at the clock that was hanging above my tv and it was 8:30pm.
I got up and shuffled towards the door with my socks before unlocking it.
"What are you doing here?" I questioned as I leaned against the door while looking at Nathaniel who was holding flowers.
He scans me from head to toe as I only just remembered that I was wearing no other then my old college sweater that was big baggy but it didn't cover the black panties that I was wearing.
He gulps "it's a Friday night, you know what that means" he says gently.
"No I really don't, it's just a normal Friday night to me" I said in annoyance while he rolls his eyes.
"Can I just come inside, please. I just want to talk Avyanna, we had a deal" he says with pleading eyes.
"Also I ordered pizza, your favourite" he adds knowing damn well that I can't say no to that.
"Whatever, as soon as the pizza gets here you leave" I stated as I walked away leaving the door open for him.
I heard him closing it as his footsteps got closer.
I decided to sit on the stool "I bought these for you" he says quietly while handing it to me.
"Thank you" I said as I grabbed them away from him before placing the bouquet on the counter that was beside me.
He looks at me anxiously "Why does it feel like your far away from me."
"I don't know does it?" I questions as he sighs.
