"Wakey wakey Dylan" I said as I pinched Dylan's cheek making him groan in disapproval before smacking my hands away.
"Go away Avyanna, I'm jet lag right now" he says annoyingly as he tries to hide himself underneath the covers.
"No time to waste, today is the day we open our doors to the public in Montreal" I said exciting while walking over and pushing the blinds away.
"Christ Avy, really!" He exclaims angrily as he tries to shield his eyes from the sun that was shining bright into the bedroom.
"Avyanna why don't you leave that poor boy alone to sleep" my father says as he enters the room.
"Good morning Mr Adair" Dylan says as he blinks a couple of times.
"I'll see you downstairs" I said while hitting Dylan with a pillow.
"I hate my life" he groans as I chuckled while following my father down the stairs.
"Thank you again for letting me and Dylan crash here" I said.
"Avyanna stop it honey, at least your finally back again" my father says with a smile.
I smiled back I took a sip of my coffee "where's mom?" I questioned.
"Well she left bright and early to the shops looking for something to wear tonight."
"I'm glad that you and mum could make it tonight" I said.
"You kidding me, we wouldn't miss it for the world kiddio" he says happily while stirring the cup of coffee in front of him.
"Avyanna, I spoke to the event planner and she said that everything seems to be going fine" Dylan says as he enters the kitchen before a taking a seat next to me.
"Here are the photos that wast sent through by her" he adds while giving me the iPad.
I looked through the photos and was pleased by the results.
"All this talk about work is giving me a headache" my father whines "here is your coffee Dylan."
"Thank you!" Dylan says as he takes a sip from it.
"I'll be in my shed if you guys need anything" my father says as leaves through the back door.
"Your parents are lovely" he says happily.
"Thanks, how do you feel about tonight?" I questions.
"Nervous" he sighs "this is groundbreaking for the company and you know it. We can't afford any mishaps."
"Everything will be fine Dylan, I know it" I said confidently.
"Also I have an important announcement to make, so it's important that you'll be there when it happens."
He looks at me weirdly "I don't remember seeing anything important on the program you've written out for me."
"I know, it's a surprise" I said happily.
Before Dylan could say anything the sound of the front door opening "Dad, are you here?" A voice calls out.
"Fuck" I muttered underneath my breath.
"It's that who I think it is" Dylan whispers.
I nodded and forced a smiled.
"Dad, hello" Aaron yells out again before hearing his footsteps approaching closer to the kitchen.
