A/N: Hello everyone! I hope you are all enjoying this story so far. I am also so sorry that this one is a bit late. Things are making it a bit difficult at the moment and I will make an announcement on that in a few minutes. Thank you for your understanding.

"Another fucking meeting," sighed Greyson while sitting down next to me. The long boardroom table had more than enough chairs for everyone invited.

"People are going to be late. Again," Ethan said absently.

I laughed, "Only building downtown every member agrees is safe."

Ethan gave a small scoff but said nothing after that. These meetings amongst established families and gang leader were every two weeks. Pretty much like clockwork. They are to create transparency, while keeping family affairs to the vest.

"First people have arrived," Charlie announced while walking in. After everything that happened, he chose to lay his allergenics to us. From what we've heard he severed all ties with our father.

"Ah, Constantines! Always on time," came a loud voice from the head of a family that turned their backs on us when our father was in charge. But changed his tune when we took over with iron fists.

We all ignored him in the end, but Alic threw him a courtesy smile. More people filed in and began taking up seats. Most times they picked the exact same seats. Habits and also the make-shift seating arrangement seemed to calm down the fighting that was almost inevitable.

As the last of the members sat down there was an empty chair that stuck out like a sore thumb.
"Where is Geoff from the Fake AH Crew?"

Before I could answer Alic stepped in, "He got pulled away on an important business. Shall we get started regardless?"

An hour passed by with very little complaining and arguments. This meeting was just another check in.

"Any other questions, comments or concerns?" Alic asked the room. When the room stayed quiet he nodded, "Perfect. Meeting adjourned. Everyone can go back to their lives."

People chuckled as they got up to go. Leaving the room Ethan sprang up and sat down next to me, "Question."

My eyebrows went up, "Hmm?"

"You gonna stay over again?"

I smiled and replied cheekily, "Already tired of me?"

"Never," Ethan laughed, "Just wondering."

"I might. But I do also have to swallow my pride and talk to him."

Greyson came up behind us, "Swallow quickly because Ryan just walked into the building."

I took a deep breath and stared at the table, "Fuuuck."

Both brothers quickly tired to usher everyone out of the room before Ryan showed up. As they just left Ryan entered like bad sitcom.

Silence echoed between us before he broke it, "Hey."

I glanced up, "Hi."

"Where did you go last night?"

"Ethan's. It was the best idea I could think of."

Ryan nodded but stayed where he was, "I missed you."

I smiled sadly, "It was only for a night."

"A night too long. I'm sorry Jaxx. I got overly frustrated and tired then to play into an idea of what I thought you thought I would be. I got caught up and it went way too far," he explained.

Nodding, "I knew who you were when I agreed to marry you. The rest of the Gents, The Lads, Vagabond, everything Ryan. If you need to let him out and do some crazy shit - go for it. I will only say: Be careful. Please."

He smiled while coming towards me, "Speaking of crazy shit..."

I laughed and looked up at him, "Jesus Ryan."

Leaning down while chuckling, he put his hands on the arm rests blocking me in, "A heist. Gavin's idea. It will probably get fucked up, but I told him I'll be there."

"And you will. With bells on," I wrapped my arms around his neck. I inched closer to kiss him.

He smiled into the kiss but broke it off quickly, "I am already late."

Pushing away with a laugh, I got up and began to walk out of the room, "No dieing Vagabond!"
