The reception was in full swing and everyone was having fun. It was a small affair but it was what Ryan and I wanted. Close friends and family only. I did have a small ting of guilt because we didn't invite either one of my parents. Having them around would honestly bring the mood down. Plus I did not want my wedding to Ryan being used against me for a gain.
"Hey Jaxx!"
I turned around and smiled, "Ray! I am so glad you could make it."
"Of course. Thank you for the invite. You look amazing."
"Thank you very much, Ray. Picking it out was pretty difficult. It means a lot," I said sincerely.
"That, I can completely believe. However, I do have to go. I just wanted to give you something."
Looking at him confused, I tilted my head, "What?"
"You and Ryan get one no ask questions favour from me. If you need absolutely anything that has you over your head - use it."
I smiled, one thing that was almost as valuable as anything to Ray was time. Nodding, I stepped forward and hugged him, "Thank you for the gift Ray."
He smirked, hugged me back quickly and then headed towards the door. Suddenly there was a pair of arms around me, "What was that about?"
"Ray was giving me a wedding gift. That's all," I smiled.
"Hmm... what was it?"
Turning around, my arms went around his neck, "His time. A super charged get out of jail free card."
"Holy fuck. One hell of a present," he said slightly surprised before kissing me again.
We just stood there and reveled in the moment. This was our wedding, our day to just be there. In this moment.
"Can I get everyone's attention? Just for a second."
Ryan and I turned and looked at Ethan and Alic. Everyone else also began to quiet down.
Ethan spoke up first, "Alright. We decided to make this gift with a bit of an announcement. That is because we don't want any one to bother them. On behalf of your brothers, Jaxx, we have decided that the both of you need a honeymoon. But we also know you can't leave the city. So, we are giving you a long weekend at The Viceroy resort. Three days, all expenses paid. No heists. Just you two alone enjoying being married."I looked at my brothers in disbelief, "Are you fucking serious?"
Greyson laughed at me, "As a heart attack. You two enjoy every second. Okay?"
Ryan went forward and hugged my brothers, "Thank you guys. We will use this wisely."
Ethan nodded then clapped Ryan on the back, "If you see her working at all. You tell us."
Laughing, Ryan just nodded and walked back towards me, "That won't be too much of an issue."
I pouted a little at Ryan and eased back into him, "Who said you would ever find out?"
"Wanna bet?"
Greyson doubled down, "As soon as he has an inkling that you are working, he can ask us to check if you are."
"You would all give me up like that?" I asked loudly.
"This is a break, Jaxx. You're fucking honeymoon. So, yeah. He is to give you up if you are working," Ethan laughed while hugging Lo.
Ryan calmed everyone down, "I think she would be pretty good about it."
Alic then came up towards us, "Have you met our sister?"
I glared at my brothers and crossed my arms, "You guys done?"
"Yes!" Greyson said quickly. "Everyone shall go back to what we were doing!"
