A/N: Hello again everyone! I'm sorry that this update is a little late. I have been adulting the past two days that I have off. It hasn't been the best thing in the world. Thank you for everyone who has picked up the first story and is coming over to the second. You guys are amazing!!
I hope that you enjoy!
Smoothing out my dress for what seemed like the thousandth time. I looked in the mirror again. My wedding dress was fairly simplistic. Off white, strapless, sweetheart neckline, going all the way to the floor. No veil. I never really wanted one. Lo was fussing with my hair, trying to make my hair stay off my neck. She had insisted to do this... and I quote, 'you should do Something with it!' So here I am hour later still getting poked at, "I am so excited for you."
I laughed, "You've said that like four times already Lo. Calm down. I'd hate to imagine what your wedding will be like."
"First off, it won't be in a backyard. But this is very you, both of you actually. I also know the security reasons," Lo smiled.
"So you do understand. Well you can have the big extravagant wedding for the both of us. Okay?"
"Done!" she laughed and poked me one more time, "And also done." Admiring her work she clapped her hands, "I'm good."
Looking in the mirror my hair was in a simple yet effective up-do. Having every hair off my shoulders, which was shocking in it's own right, "This is amazing Lo. Thank you!"
She smiled as she helped me get to my feet, "Almost time. Everything okay?"
I nodded and turned her around. The tag on her deep blue bridesmaid dress was showing.
"You two ready - oh shit!" Lindsay busted in in her dress, "Fuck, you look amazing!"
I curtsied and also did a spin, "Too much?"
"Not at all. It's all perfect. Just... wow," her mouth was slightly open.
"Lindsay..."
"Right! Everyone is waiting and set."
Taking in a deep breath I made way to the door. Lo and Lindsay in front of me grabbing Greyson and Michael respectively. I went into the living room where Alic was standing there waiting. He stopped dead and just stared, "Wow. I -"
I spun around again to give him a better look, "Like it?"
Alic let out a harsh breath, "You look amazing. I'm utterly speechless. My God."
Smiling and blushing a little, I walked up to him, "Ready to walk me down the aisle?"
"You bet your ass I am," he beamed and held out his arm. I took it and watched Lo and Greyson going down the isle in front of me. Alic waited for me to start walking again.
Walking down the aisle, I almost forgot how to breathe. The world spun a bit and I had to take a second of a pause to make the world stop moving. Alic stepped in front of me, "Look at me."
I glanced up but said nothing.
"Close your eyes again."
Giving him a questioning look, I did what he said. Taking a deep breath, I closed my eyes again. I felt him move back to his spot, leaning over he whispered for me to open them. All I saw was Ryan just then. He was looking scared but very happy. That one action made me smile and feel like the whole world is open to all possibilities.
Alic walked me up the rest of the way, "Thank you."
"Of course," he whispered and kissed me on the cheek. He sat down before Geoff cleared his throat before starting the ceremony. He offered to marry Ryan and I as a gift. We thought he was kidding until we realized he was dead serious.
"Welcome Everyone. If you are here that means you are family. Family means anything but mainly it means love and protection. This pair had gone through a lot but protection and love had always prevailed and moved them forward. These two hard headed pain in the asses are taking two very different families and bridging the gap. God help them," Ryan and I both laughed, "I have been given the great honour of marrying them. I wouldn't trade this for the world. Ryan, if you have any types of vows go right ahead."
He cleared his throat, "It's not a lot but I want to say it. I am so lucky to have found you. It was like fate pushed us together. I showed you my darkness and you brightened the darkest of corners. I will always be eternally grateful for that and I am all for eternity with you."
Geoff coughed to cover up his emotions, "That was fucking beautiful man... Jax?"
I laughed quickly out of nervousness, "You and I had a chance encounter at a convenience store that I really never thought would lead to all of this. As I have seen both sides of you, you have of me. The rock bottom that happened may not be the last, but whatever happens we will figure it out. Fate can be a cruel thing, but I honestly believe it got it right with us. Plus eternally sounds perfect."
Another cough from Geoff while he was glancing above him at the arch made me laugh again. Shaking his head quickly he took back his composure, "You two are assholes... Okay! Lets get this over with before rumour spreads that I cried. Alright. Ryan, do you take Jaxx to be your wedded wife?"
Gavin quickly came forward and handed the rings to each of us. Ryan nodded before he said, "Of course I do." He then slipped the gun metal band on my finger.
"Jaxx, do you take Ryan to be your wedded husband?"
"Abso-fucking-lutley I do," I smiled while putting the same style of ring on.
"By the power vested in me I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now respectively make out."
Ryan and I both laughed before stepping forward and kissing. Our small attendees cheers while we broke apart. Grabbing my hand, we headed back towards the house.
