Chapter Two

Bucky’s P.O.V
We finally left after we met up with a blond woman named Sharon and I sat in the back of the car with Nina as she rested her head on my shoulder before she fell asleep and I saw Steve look at us through the rearview mirror and he had a smirk on his face and I did the same. After a few hours I woke up to Steve telling us that we’re here and I looked over to Nina in the same position the whole car ride here and I gently nudged her a few times until she started waking up, “Nina wake up, we’re here” I said to her and she rubbed her eyes and she looked around to see where we were and we got out of the car and stood on the side that we got out of and saw that she was looking at everyone that she didn’t recognize. When everyone finished talking about what was going to happen, we all started to get ready and put on our gear and we went to our assigned spots, Sam, Nina and I were in a building across from a few people named Wanda and Clint and Steve and Scott who also goes by the name Ant Man were on the ground as they were face to face with Tony and his friends, “Steve I found it, the jet’s in hangar five north runway” Sam said as he sat next to me with Nina in between us, “everything’s going to be alright” I said to Nina and she looked over to me with a small smile and I returned it as I kissed the top of her head, “ I hope so, I just want all of this to be over” she said and it was time for us to go and we started running until we saw someone in a red and blue suit crawling on the window’s, “what the hell is that” I said to Sam, “everyone’s got a gimmick now” Sam said in return as we continued running until he smashed through the windows and knocked us all to the ground and as I got up I decided to throw a punch at him and he surprisingly caught it, “is that a metal arm, that’s awesome” he said and was knocked to the side.
As we were fighting with what sounded like a kid, he shot us to the ground with some kind of webbing and Sam used one of his gadgets to get the kid out of here, “you could have done that earlier” I said to him as I looked over to Sam, “I hate you” he said back and we heard footsteps coming towards us and we saw that it was my daughter Nina with a smile on her face as she started to chuckle at us, “what’s so funny” I heard Sam say, “I’m laughing at the both of you, and to be honest this is the best thing I’ve seen in years if I had to be honest with you” she said and I smiled and she came over to help us out of our current situation and went to meet up with Steve but we were stopped by a yellow beem that created a line in the sument, “Captain Rogers, I know what you think you’re doing is right, but for the collective good you must surrender now” he said as the others joined in behind Stark and we all started to run at each other and started fighting and when I fought with who I believed was T’challa as he thought I killed his father as he kicked me into a stack of crates and before he was able use his claws, he was stopped by the girls powers and was flown back and I ran to meet up with Steve and Nina who stood next to me as we hide behind a few crates and started to make a plan of what to do, “we have to go, that guy is probably in siberia by now” I said to Steve “I know, but we need to draw out the flyers, and you two get to the jet” Steve said and Nina and I looked at each other until Sam decided to say something, “no, all three of you get to the jet, some of might have to lose” Sam said and then Clint said something, “he’s right some of us might have to lose this thing” and Scott had an idea, “I might have something big, but I only done it once, in a lab and then I passed out, so on my signal run before I tear myself in half”he said and I got confused and Nina reassured me that it was sarcasm. 
After a few minutes, I saw what Scott was talking about and Nina, Steve and I ran towards the jet and out of nowhere a tower started to fall but was stopped by Wanda but we just about made it through but we were stopped by on of Steve’s friends, “your not gonna stop are you” she said to him and he answered, “you know I can't” he answered back, “I’m going to regret this” she said ad shot something at T’challa and she let the three of us go and we got on the jet and Steve started it up and we left for Siberia. After about two hours I spoke up, “I don’t think I’m worth all of this Steve” I said as I looked over to see Nina fast asleep, “what you did all those years ago, it wasn’t you, neither of you had a choice” he said and I looked down as a feeling of guilt washed over me because I knew he was right but I still blamed myself for all the thing Hydra made me and Nina do to all of those people throughout the years of being with them. After flying a few more hours, we finally arrived at the Hydra base in Siberia and as we got out of the jet, we noticed that the door was already open and then I felt Nina grab my arm as she got closer to me and when I looked at her and she looked up at me I could tell she was scared about being back here and couldn’t blame her, she was forced to watch me get tortured and abused when she was young. 
As we got out of the elevator, we walked around and kept an eye out as we got to a flight of stairs and started walking up, we turned around quickly as we heard someone or something opening a pair of metal doors and they were opened to show the one and only Tony Stark or as he calls himself Iron Man when he wears the suit, I quickly raised my gun as Steve did the same with his shield and I moved Nina behind me as I felt the need to protect her and after a while I was told to put down the gun and that’s what I did and I looked over to Nina as she had a look of nervousness on her face as she looked up from them to me and I nodded to her as I rested my hand on her shoulder as we continued to walk up the rest of the stairs until we were able to find the guy who framed Nina and I for the bombing in Vienna and I stood in front of her and Steve started talking to they guy who’s name was Zemo until he showed a video and once I saw what was on the screen I knew exactly what the video was about and I started feeling guilty and looked towards Nina with an upset look on my face because she wasn’t the one who murdered Tony’s parents and when the video was done, I told Nina to run, “Nina I need you to run and get out of here please, I don’t want you to get hurt” I said as I held onto her shoulders and she started tearing up and I did the same and did what I told her, but before she did shu hugged tightly, “please don’t leave me” she said and ran out threw the door and as soon as I turned around, I was met with Tony’s fist as soon as I got back up I did the same and the Three of us started a fight but in the end Steve helped me up and we decided to get out of here and when we did I saw Nina walking back and forth and T’challa trying to calm her down. 
After she saw us walking up to them, she rushed over to us with T'challa not far behind her and hugged me and when she moved away, she noticed my arm and looked upset as she looked back up to me and she hugged me again and we got into the jet but before we did T’challa stopped us, “I have an offer for you Mr. Barnes, since I figured out that you didn’t do what you did, I want you to come to Wakanda so that we can help you get whatever that changes you into the Winter Soldier out of your head” he offered and I looked over to Nina as she nodded with a small smile on her face and I agreed and Nina and I went with to Wakanda with T’challa and to be honest i'm glad that I might get at least somewhat of a normal life after all of this and what Nina and I have been through in the past and that’s all I ever wanted, for her especially. As we arrived in Wakanda we followed T’challa to his sister’s lab and Nina and I both sat on a table so that the people who worked in the lab were able to clean us up and put a cover over the spot wear my arm used to be before it was blown and when I started to think to myself until Steve came up to me with Nina not far behind and I smiled and told them that I’m going back under and saw Nina put a sad look on her face when she heard what I said, “are you sure about this” I heard Steve say, “I can’t trust my own mind and besides I think going back under is the best thing, for all of us, especially Nina” I say as I looked over to her and saw that she was crying and she walked up to me and hugged me tightly, “don’t worry, I’m going to be good as new when I wake up alright” I promised her, “I love you dad, I'm going to miss you” she said as she backed away from the hug and I smiled, “I love you to Nina, more than anything and I promised your mother before she was killed that I was going to protect you but I failed her then and I’m not going to fail her again and from now on after I wake up I will keep that promise that I made to her years ago and protect you alright, your all I have” I said as I kissed the top of her head as I got up and walked over to where they were going to put me under and got in and they strapped me in and closed the tube and I instantly went to sleep and the last thing I thought about was Nina.

Nina’s P.O.V
As I watched my dad go under, I still had a few tears running down my face and I walked over to the window where Steve and T’challa were standing at, “thank you for everything” I said as I looked over to T’challa and he smiled at me, “It is my pleasure, I now know and understand what the two of you have been through over the years before all of this happened and you are more then welcome to stay here for as long as the both of you need when your father wakes up” he said as he rested his hand on my shoulder and smiled at me and walked away with Steve and I followed so that I could say goodbye to him, “see you soon Nina” Steve said and I gave him a hug, “I hope to see you again soon and on better circumstances” I said and we both let out a chuckle and after Steve left, I walked back in with T’challa and after a few moments, he turned to me as if was going to ask me something, “Nina I have a question for you” he said, “ask away” I said to him, “how would you feel if you wanted to be my right hand”he asked and I had a surprised look on my face and I thought about it for a few moments until I thought of an answer, “ya of course” I said as I nodded and he had a slight smile on his face, “good” he said and we walked back to the lab and saw someone that I haven’t seen before, “nina this is my younger sister Shuri , she runs the lab and helps me with things like my suit and certain updates on devices that we use when there are missions” he said and I smiled as I thought about what she was able to do and my love for science and technology, “nice to meet you your highness” I said and she let out a giggle, “just Shuri will be fine” she said and I smiled, for the rest of the day T’challa showed me around and at some point, I met his mother and knew that she had understand that it wasn’t mine or my fathers doing about her husband the former king of Wakanda’s death and I thanked her and when the end of the day came, T'challa showed me where I was going to be staying until they were able to find my dad and I a place to for my father and I, and before T’challa left I hugged him, “thank you for this, it really means a lot, especially after everything that happened recently” I said and he returned the hug, “your welcome Nina” he said and I broke away from the hug and saw him smile and we both said goodnight and I instantly fell asleep after getting changed.
