Chapter Seventeen

Two Years Later
Nina’s P.O.V
It has been Two years since we went to T’challa and Nakia’s wedding and since I gave births to Sam and I’s little girl Grace who is now Two and Lucas Is now Three and when I woke up to the sun shining in my face and to see Sam sleeping peacefully, Lucas came running in and tried to climb on the bed after boosting his little sister up, he began jumping on the bed and Sam quickly woke up and began to laugh as he realized what was going on and I did the same as I grabbed Grace so she wouldn’t fall off the edge of the bed and soon after my dad came and leaned on the door frame and smiled as he let out a laugh, “he did the same to me and I thought I’d Grab little Gracie there since I saw she was awake also” he said as he continued to smile and Sam and I finally decided to get out of bed and as soon as we got into the living room I started to get a call and saw that it was from Shuri so I decided to pick up, “hey Shuri, how are you and the others doing” I told her with a small smile on my face as I grabbed cereal from the cupboard and poured some in a small bowl with milk and gave it to Lucas before I went to grabbed him some juice, “everything is fine here, I called to tell you that my mother is giving up her place as Queen and passing it down to Nakia and they are planning on having the coronation in Three days and was wondering if you and your family would like to come, we can even bring you transport if you’d like” she said and I became shocked, “that’s awesome Shuri, just let me tell the others and I’ll text you to let you know” I told her and she agreed and we both hung up, “who was that my dad and Sam asked, “it was Shuri, she called to let us know that her mom is passing down the title of being Queen to Nakia and that she is going to have a coronation in Three days and wanted to know if we wanted come” I told them and they agreed to come and I grabbed my phone to let Shuri know that we will be to go.
For the next Three days we all made sure that the Three of us and the kids had everything we needed before we left for Wakanda. After a few hours of flying, we finally arrived in Wakanda and we were greeted by Shuri and her family, “finally your here” Shuri said as she walked up to me and gave me a hug as Grace walked beside me, “and this must be Grace” Shuri said as she bent down and waved at her and heard a little giggle from Grace, and we all walked into their home and escorted to our rooms to set our stuff in before we got ready for Nakia’s coronation later this afternoon, “so Nakia are you nervous for today” I asked her and she shrugged as she held hands with T’challa, “ya a little bit” she said with a smile, “well I guess we should all be getting ready for today everything will be starting in about Two hours or so” T’challa and Shuri’s mother, Romanda said to us and we all agreed and went our separate ways and got ready as Shuri and Okoye helped me and Grace while T’challa and M’baku helped out the boy’s. By the time we were all finished we all decided to meet near the front doors of the Palace so that Romanda could show us where the ceremony would be held. After the ceremony had finished we all gathered in the dining hall and had a good time together especially the kids while they played and danced with Shuri and my dad, while the rest of us slowed danced with each other before the food came around and after we all sat down, T’challa stood up and held his glass up and everyone began to pay attention to him as he began to speak, “Welcome and thank you all for coming celebrate our new Queen, we also have a special announcement to tell you all, Nakia and I are expecting our first child” he said as he looked down at Nakia with a smile on his face as everyone started cheering and clapping for them.
As everything came to an end everyone started to go back to their homes and we all went to our rooms that T’challa and Shuri had given us and we walked in after saying goodnight to each other and Sam and I got the kids ready for bed before we got ready ourselves and by the time we were done bot Lucas and Grace were already passed out and we gently laid them both down in the bed next to ours and Sam and I were finally able to get ready for bed and as soon as my head hit the pillow I fell asleep instantly. The next morning came and I was woken up by the sun shining in my face and as I got out of bed and walked out onto the balcony and took in the view in front of me that also brought back memories from years ago especially when Sam had asked me out my note and I began to smile to myself until I was brought out of my thoughts as I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned my head to see that it was Sam with a cup of coffee in his hand and moved it towards me and I grabbed it and thanked him, “so what were you thinking about” he asked me and I let out a sigh, “being here brings back memories, not just the bad ones from what happened with Thanos but the good ones, I still remember how you asked me out” I said and he chuckled, “so do I and I also remember when you said yes when I came back with Steve and the others and I couldn’t help but kiss you” he said and I giggled and we both walked back inside to see the kids were still sleeping and Sam and I decided to wake them up and get them dressed. 
By the time we got them both dressed and brushed their hair and teeth, we made sure we had everything packed and ready to go for when we leave later and when we finished, I heard a knock on the door and saw that it was Shuri who had a big smile on her face, “good morning, I came to tell you guys that breakfast is ready and I already told your father” she said and I smiled, “good morning to you to and alright” I told her and Sam and I grabbed Lucas and Grace and followed Shuri. By the time we got there everyone were there already and we sat down, “congratulations about both the baby and the coronation Nakia” I told her and she smiled, “thank you and thank you for coming, it means a lot” she said and we smiled at each other and began to eat breakfast and talked to one another and hung out like a big family and talked for most of the day until it was time for the Five of us to head home, “well we should probably get going, it was nice coming back here for the coronation and to support Nakia and congratulations again on the pregnancy as well you two and keep me updated about it as well mister” I told T’challa as he chuckled as we hugged each other, “don’t worry I will definitely keep you updated and have a safe trip back home alright” he said and I nodded as we all hugged each other and headed home.
We finally arrived home after a few hours and the kids had fallen asleep on the way back and put them in their room as they continued to sleep and got everything unpacked and sorted out and we were finally able to relax after we finished and watched T.V for a while until Lucas came into the living room and sat next to my dad as Grace did the Same as she tried to climb onto Sam’s lap until he picked her up and held her close to him, “she’s always going to be a daddy’s girl” I said as I looked adoringly at Grace, “I know and Lucas is always going to be a momma’s boy but I think your dad is stealing your spot” Sam said as we both laughed as e looked over to my dad and Lucas with a smile on our faces and we continued to watch T.V until it as time for dinner and we decided to have takeout because none of us felt like cooking and enjoyed the rest of our night as a family like we always do as we watched movies with the kids until we got them ready for bed  and we did the same ourselves and went to bed for the night as we were exhausted from the weekend we had and smiled to myself as I cuddled next to Sam with his arms wrapped protectively around me and I let out a sigh and finally went into a deep sleep.
