Chapter Three

Nina’s P.O.V
A year later
It has been about a year since what happened with the bombing and the accords in Vienna and today the people who worked in Shuri’s lab had found a way to get the words out of my dad's head and finally got rid of them and they were finally going to wake him up today and I followed Shuri to the lab and when we got there, I saw him sitting on a table as some of the people who worked here were making sure his vitals and everything else were stable, once I got closer to him he saw me and he instantly hopped off the table that he was sitting on and rushed over to me and hugged me tightly, “I missed you, I’m glad you're alright” I said and we broke away from the hug and he kissed the top of my head, “I missed you to, I'm just glad that we might actually have a normal life, A normal life that your mother wanted for you” he said and he looked upset, “you miss her” I said and he nodded and then I started to wonder what my mother would have been like, “what was mom like, since I never met her” I asked as we walked to where T’challa had a home made for the both of us, “she was beautiful, kind, gental, she was an amazing woman who didn’t deserve to be treated the way Hydra treated her and the worst part was…” he said as he paused trying to figure out the words for what he was trying to say and a few tears fell down his cheeks, “and when they found our about us, about you, they killed her and they kept you away from me until they thought you were old enough for them to use you along with me” he said as more tears came rushing down both of our cheeks.
For the rest of the day I got my dad settled in and told him what happened for the past year and that T’challa was now king of Wakanda, “so what happened, while I was under for the past year” he asked, “well, T’challa became king about a week after you went under and he also made me his right hand and I’ve also been working with his sister Shuri, umm, he found out that he had a cousin and nothing good came fro that, he wanted the throne and he had it for a short while after they thought he killed T’challa but he came back and they had a falling out and his cousin died not long after T’challa stabbed him and now they have opened up Wakanda to the world and he made  Shuri and I the heads of the science department that they recently are doing” I said to him and he smiled and I rested my head on his shoulder as we sat on the couch, “you remind me a lot about your mother” he said and I continued to smile, “well I should probably get back to T’challa, he wanted me to help him and his sister with a few things, are you going to be alright on your own” I said to him and he nodded, “ya I’ll be alright, I’m probably going to make myself something to eat” he said and I smiled as I walked out the door and back to the palace and as I arrived I walked into the lab with Shuri and T’challa, “I’ve been working on updates for pretty much everything and T’challa, I made a few changes and updates to your suite and she went on about the updates she had done. 

Seven Months Later
Nina’s P.O.V
It has been about Seven Months since my dad woke up from Cryo and it is now December and I’m finally having my first Christmas since I’ve been in Hydra pretty much my whole life and now I finally get to spend a Christmas with him and I think he’s going to like what I’d gotten him and as I finished wrapping up my dad’s Christmas Gift I heard someone walk through the door and I turned around to see Shurri and T’challa walking in and I smiled, “hey guys what’s up” I said with a smile on my face, “T’challa and I wanted to know if you and your father Bucky wanted to come and have dinner with us later since it’s Christmas Eve, that’s if you’d like to come” Shuri said and I nodded in agreement, “of course I'll let him know when he gets back, he wanted to get a few things from town” I said and they both gave me a hug and they both left as they waved goodbye. About half an hour to and hour later, my dad came home from town as he walked through the door of the medium sized hut that we’ve been living in and I turned around as a smile grew on my face as I hid his Christmas Gift, “hey dad, T’challa and his sister Shuri were here a little while ago and they asked if we wanted to come to theirs for dinner soon” I asked him and he nodded, “ya we can go, it would be nice way to spend your first christmas” he said as he kissed the top of my head and we got ready and changed into something more formal and made sure we had everything before we left and I snuck he present in my bag and we walked out the door and walked over to T’challa’s and as we got there, we were greeted and lead to the dining hall where we were going to eat.
For the rest of the night my dad and I had the most amazing time for the first time in years with T’challa and his family and I was finally able to give my dad the gift I got him and I looked over to Shuri and she had a smile on her face and she nodded and I went ahead and gave it to him, “hey dad, I got you something” I said to him as he turned around and a small smile grew on his face and he started to open it and when he saw what it was, his smile grew bigger on his face as he looked at the picture of me and him that I had someone take of the both us when we were living in Romania, “do you like it dad” I said and he looked up to face me and I saw a few tears down his face and he rushed over to me and hugged me tightly and I did the same, “like, I love it, thank you Nina” he said and kissed the top of my head and we continued to hug each other for a while and we broke away from the hug when T’challa came up to us, “I also have something for you two, if you’ll follow me” he said and we followed and when we got to where he wanted to show us something, I saw Steve and Sam standing there and I looked up to my dad and saw the same smile on his face and he walked up to Steve and gave him a friendly hug and I did the same with Sam and my dad looked over to T’challa and gave him a hand shake, “thank you, your highness” he said and T’challa let out a chuckle, “you don’t need to call me that Mr. Barnes, you can call me T’challa” he said with a smile, “and you can call me Bucky” my dad said in return and the four of us hung out with each other until we all started to get tired and it was time for Steve and Sam to leave and as I turned around, Sma grabbed my arm as he stopped me, “what is it Sam, everything alright” I said as I became confused and out of know where he kissed me, I was in shock at first but returned the kiss as I smiled into it and rested my hand on the sides of his face, after a few minutes we heard both Steve and my dad clear their throats and we turned and I blushed as I looked down feeling shy and before they left Sam put something in my hand and I decided to look at at when my dad and I got back to our place.
