"A sweet friendship refreshes the soul."
Todoroki was presently sitting on a bench, not far absent from Yuuei as he dared not to get caught by anyone.
But even if he did, the guiltiest thing that could occur was a lecture from Aizawa, which was a trifle compared to what he was used to.
Anyone that saw a random- no, one of the promising Yuuei pupils crouching lonely on a bench like a stray puppy would ask themselves if something was wrong.
The reply to that issue is yes.
Even though the class had finished a few minutes ago, he didn't feel like withdrawing to his dorm, since it meant having to undergo a headache because of noisy classmates.
However, that wasn't the original motive why a student like him, someone that saw no barriers in being, was lost in his emotions.
His mind was being harsh to him again.
The first impression one might get of him may be fairly depressing, but that wasn't the issue here.
But nor was it something completely natural to him either.
In class, he couldn't concentrate at all. Hours and hours passed, the clock ticking carved into his skull, and yet, no focus. No one except Aizawa-sensei noticed his absence.
His lecturer had wanted to talk to him about this bizarre behavior after the lesson, which he excused as "not feeling so good".
Had his demeanor changed so much that even Aizawa caught sight of him staring at a certain someone?
It wasn't his fault that Midoriya's smile looked so lovely it melted his heart, his hair so soft he had to resist the urge to drag his hand through it.
No, that couldn't be true. He'd rather bow down to his bastard of a father than withstand this warm and dizzy feeling.
The first few times, he thought that it was just a little illness. Who wouldn't catch a chill in spring, the period of pollen gliding all over the place?
It didn't sound very right to complain either, since this feverish feeling, heating his cold expression, was a source of warmth.
Who comprehended what the genuine deal was. It could yet be that he was just timid around Midoriya.
But after some eternity, even an individual like Todoroki could get quite irritated by the sudden uneasiness.
Was the cause really because of romantic, passionate matters?
At some point, Todoroki had even come up with the theory that he occurred to be allergic to Midoriya.
Nonetheless, that sounded too strange to be accurate. Perhaps he was going lunatic after all.
He felt frustrated and misled by his feelings, assuming something before it evolved into a lie the following moment.
Was it common to experience such things?
He felt as if his chest was blooming, filling every portion of him with the feeling of delicate, fragile petals.
What were these emotions?
Heck, he didn't understand.
The only path to finding out the verity was interrogating Midoriya directly, or perhaps just getting a bit intimate with him.
