It had been a few hours since everyone had left, and Kylie was still anxious about her dad and Glenn leaving to get Merle back. She feared that they wouldn't return, considering they had barely made it out before. Kylie was scared she would lose her father just after just getting him back.

Kylie was also scared that Glenn wouldn't return. Glenn had become her best friend so quick back when this all first started and Kylie knew he deserved to live. She would even feel grief if Glenn died.

But doing the chores around camp took her mind off everything, and the possible danger that surrounded camp. But cleaning with the other women from the camp actually kept her calm. Definitely when they were doing it next to a crystal blue lake.

Kylie was suddenly snapped back to reality when she heard Jacqui sigh from beside her. She then turned her head to see the woman looking in the direction of Shane who was splashing in the water with Carl.

"I'm beginning to question the division of labor here," Jacqui spoke up as their hands continued to clean the clothes in the water. "Explain how the women wound up doing all the Hattie McDaniel work." She adds causing for everyone else to look at Shane and Carl in the distance.

"The world ended, didn't you get the memo?" Amy asks her, glancing over at Jacqui as she shakes her head at the question. Kylie laughed at her response, nodding her head in agreement. After all the world did end and whilst the men protected the camp, the women did all the laundry.

Jacqui glanced over at Kylie who sat beside her, and gave her a light nudge.

"You're quiet." She whispers over to her, and Kylie gives the woman a look in return as a sigh fell past her lips. "You can talk to us."

"I know, I just miss my dad already." Kylie replies, shrugging her shoulders.

"Which is understandable." Jacqui reassures her and Kylie nodded her head in response to her words, a small smile tugging at her lips.

Kylie heard Carol sigh and the girl turned her head to look at the woman. "I do miss my maytag." She confessed, scrubbing the clothes through the water.

"I miss my Benz, my sat-nav," Andrea sighed heavily, as they all began to reminisce, thinking back to their past lives before the world ended two months ago.

Kylie looked out at the lake in front of her, a sigh escaping her lips. "I miss my friends." She states. "I miss the feeling I got when I walked around the school." She explained, thinking back to the good old days.

"I miss my coffee maker, with that dual-drip filter and built in grinder, honey." Jacqui laughs, letting out a groan as her smile grew even wider.

Amy glanced around at them, "My computer...texting." She says to the rest of them and Kylie nodded her head in agreement. Her phone was one of the many things she missed too.

"I miss my vibrator." Andrea confessed to the group causing for all of them, including Kylie let out giggles.

Carol glanced around for a second, her smile growing. "Me too," she replied quietly and Kylie let out a loud chuckle. Amused by how they could talk about topics like the one they were laughing about.

Suddenly the laughter died down a little when they heard footsteps behind them, making the each of them feel a little uncomfortable. Kylie knew who it was, definitely when he opened his mouth to speak.

"What's so funny?" Ed's voice asked in a rude tone, his tall frame towering over the each of them. Each of them feeling uncomfortable with how much he was hovering around them.
