Kayla was laying on Matthew's chest, listening to his steady heartbeat. They had been married for three years, and had had no success with having any children. "Matthew, I have some great news." Kayla said, turning her head to look at him.

A smile appeared on her face as he embraced her. "What?"

"I am pregnant." Kayla said, smiling even more.

They had wanted to have a child for the longest time, just hoping they could have one. "Really?" Matthew asked, sitting up.

"Yes." Kayla said as a tear ran down her face.

They just sat there, as happy as they had been on their wedding day. "That is so great!" Matthew said, hugging her slightly more tightly.

The months rolled on, and Kayla gained more weight and seamed to become more round. She didn't overly like how uncomfortable she became, or the morning sickness.

Soon the ninth month came; the baby had taken a long time till birth. She was in extreme pain for the whole time. Matthew was just killing him self, feeling the guilt. After being in labour for seven hours, Kayla had given birth to a healthy baby boy. They named him Marc, after Matthew's grandfather.

The doctor had told her that she was only going to have one baby, but instead, she gave birth to twins. With the second, it was only five minutes before it was born. They named the other one Nathan. Kayla and Matthew were both in shock to have had two boys.

"Well, this should be fun." Kayla said, smiling as the two were being cleaned.

She was all sweaty and had a sore back. Her breathing slowed, and even though she was still in pain, she was able to smile.

They were both given a boy. "Hard to tell them apart." Matthew said, smiling.

Kayla was given a pillow to place both babies on. Matthew gently placed Nathan down onto the pillow, in Kayla's arm. Kayla was playing with their little hands and arms.

"We will be able to do it," Kayla said, now holding both of the boys, smiling and cooing over the two.

Kayla remained in her seat, as a pain shocked through her chest. She continued to remember, forcing herself to; she wanted to remember everything she could.

One year after the birth of Marc and Nathan, Kayla and Matthew were once again able to have children. Only this time, twin girls. Amelia and Susan, only Susan died at birth from being so little and under developed. It took Kayla awhile to get over it, just not as long as it took her mother to get over the deaths of Irene and Selen.

"Nathan, Nathan." Kayla called as she walked threw the living room of the house.

"Yes mother?" Nathan responded, now five.

"What did I tell you about leaving you toys all over the place?" Kayla asked.

"Not to do it. For that is a good way to hurt some one." Nathan responded.

He picked up his cars and went into his room. Kayla went around the house, checking in on her other two children. Amelia was drawing in her room, and Marc was watching TV.

Matthew walked in the door just before dinner was served. "Hello," Kayla said as she placed the plates down.

"Hello to you," Matthew said, kissing her.

"Mommy! Daddy! Please not now!" Marc said as he came to the table.

"Why not?" Kayla asked, looking at him.

"I am going to be eating." Marc said, picking up his fork.

"Fine," Kayla said, getting other plate out.
