The dignified sticks!

Chaptor 3: We need help!

Chris being minimally injured after the street fight with delorean's bully.. is able to carry delorean back home in 17 minutes on his back.

Chris makes it to his place, luckily his mom's not home or else.

Chris thought if she was there, he'd have to tell his mom everything that happened when she asked him, he's a mommas boy.

Chris ran upstairs to his bedroom, where he laid down delorean on his bed and stared at the escrima sticks later on.

After a little time, chris finally got the balls to check out the sticks in full. The sticks begin to glow, brighter and brighter, the closer he got to them. Wondering what's going on with the damn things, he picked them up and turned them around.

He began to watch a few videos on his phone about how to use them.

He tried for a minute to mimic the styles the guys on the videos were doing, but after a while, he got irritated extremely and just threw the sticks out the window far.

He turned around after closing his window, the sticks are magically back in his hands, gripped tightly in them.

He throws the sticks on the bed as the glow begin to fade away the farther they got from him.

Chris wanted to try something, something he had previously thought was fully and completely myth.

He threw the sticks out the window and was thinking he didn't want them, not fully get rid of them.

He turns around, they don't appear in his hands.

Chris begin to think.. "If the sticks react to WHEN i don't want them, then surely if i did want them then, the sticks would come back.

See, each time chris threw the sticks away, he genuinely didn't want them, but if he just doesn't want them at that point, they react to his thought.

Delorean 5 minutes after chris discovers this, wakes up from his collapse, without memory from what he did in the fight.. weirdly.

Chris asks delorean how he got that fast and delorean replies with.. "What fast bro?" shocking chris since he's confused and don't remember anything that happened earlier.
Delorean: "I have a splitting damn headache dude!"
"What happened?"
Chris: "You went insanely fast and beat the heck out of everyone bro!"
Delorean: "what?"
"I can't fight though man!"
Chris: "Well... you were just destroying some dudes and you saved my butt from destruction!"
>Just then, delorean was confused and began to think, "I'm no badass!"
But never said it aloud to chris.
Delorean: "So... what do we do now bro?"
Chris: "Now we find a way to get rid of these abilities or live with them."
Delorean: "Oh, i know, i remember where the antique shop was i got these from the other day!"
Chris: "You got these from a... an antique shop bro?"
Delorean: "Yeah bro, they was supposed to be pure decoration though, for your birthday!"
"Except, now this stuff!"
Chris: "Ok bro, let's go check out this shop then, it better not be weird, then again, you bought these from an antique shop and crap so..."
Delorean: "It's not, trust me man!"
>The boys get to where delorean bought the weapons from except the shop is gone like it vanished from existence, no trace of the shop is left.
the building is still there but the items and the clerk are all gone and out.
The two friends are confused but delorean is even more confused because he remembers exactly where the shop was, after their long day, the two friends except it though and move along the next day stuck with abilities they could be hunted for but they don't know that fact yet.

The next day arrives and the boys are heading off to school, the boys saw the bully yet, he was too scared to do anything, and embarrassed to tell anything.

The bully began to avoid the boys.
After school, chris, in detailed, told delorean what happened the yesterday and how delorean wasn't only strong but as well fast, tactical, cunning.

All the things delorean was not.

This boosted Delorean's ego farther than it ever were, so much so that when the boys were walking down the street the next night to go to a concert, Delorean tried to tap back into the power he had before by stopping an attempted mini gang war, Chris was begging for Delorean to just call the cops and don't jump in to be the hero but Delorean felt like he pretty much had no choice but to try.

Delorean tried to tap back into the power by getting destroyed like how chris said what happened, except this time... since he can't control the power, he can't control himself, his powers and attributes were fluctuating tremendously.

The gangs that were about to start fighting beat delorean to the brink of death, the cops finally arrived after a girl, who was nearby, ran and called the cops while they were distracted with Delorean.

So, now we have one halfway dead delorean, 2 cops who quickly arrived and 14 gang members about to go to war after they thought they had killed Delorean.

You can guess who will win this battle, the halfway dead Delorean woke up with a face fully of electricity this time, he injured 3 people, a cop and 2 of the 4 criminals that tried to kill each other and those who were nearby, except he did not bring them to the brink willingly or anything, he just couldn't control himself as he was going berserk on those guys, he attacked them too mercilessly, his form were fluctuating, his physical attributes were fluctuating and his mentality was changing all in ways he wasn't aware of and couldn't control.

Awkwardly, Delorean didn't get knocked out like he did last time, he remembered everything that happened and saw himself unwillingly almost murder the men involved, of course, Chris was able to save and get Delorean away from all of that and it seems that nobody can tie Chris nor Delorean to what happened.

After this event, Delorean became depressed for 3 months straight until Chris reminded him that he was trying to do the right thing, the right thing can sometimes come with a terrible cost, if it wasn't for him, the woman's life would have been gone and the criminals would have gotten away with it easily, like every criminal does in this city, just don't do the same thing, life is about making mistakes.

He tells him that he should feel bad but don't destroy himself because of it, yet while this help alleviate some of the guilt, this heartwarming speech doesn't help fully because delorean injured almost killing the criminals a little bit, a little bit.
He liked it alot, it got the job done.
Chris is the only friend and only hero he has, if it wasn't for chris, delorean thinks he would have traveled down the wrong road along time ago.
This inspires delorean to go back and find the antique shop no matter what, no matter the cost, delorean liked almost killing, but if chris thinks killing isn't the way, he's more than willing to follow his greatest friend's lead in this situation!
Delorean is determined to find the clerk at the antique shop or atleast his shop they need to lead them to him!
However, before delorean leaves to go and find the shop, the news reminds delorean of when he almost killed the cop and the criminals.
News come out revealing the truth about the cop, revealing the department did a search around the cop and he was working with some criminals in the city.
The cop was a dirty cop with no family, he had been doing business with the mobs and other crime organizations from greene city to new york and beyond.
The cop had been partaking in illegal sex trafficking and drug rings.
Delorean's determination gets stronger and a smile sneaks on his face slowly hearing the good news.
