Chaptor 8: My nephew is growing up!

The next week comes along and the newly built friends are hanging out at chris' house, since his mom is gone like always and won't be back for a while at her job.
The girl who's been following chris and delorean around name is "jasmine mykers" who's now also their newest friend, chris is practically friends with everyone since he actually is the social one of the two, he gets out there in the world. Chris makes friends alot so he's used to new people around him.
Delorean... not so much, due to his anti-social nature, he tends to act more chill around new people who wants to friend him than excited or tough or anything.
He's usually always chill for the most part, except for things he can't handle like injustice and science not being able to rule anything, he's a science fanatic yet doesn't show alot.
Delorean thinks to himself, "Ugh, why's she here again, dang you chris!"
At the same time, jasmine is thinking to herself "Yay, now i can make moves on delorean, he's going to notice me eventually!" Then the two simultaneously put their head down on the couch arms facing the opposite way of eachother. Chris tries to take the awkwardness away by starting mouth conversations he says, "SO.. What should we know about you jasmine?" She then answers back, "I love science and the colors pink and orange" while delorean then thinks to himself "Same colors as pep-pouncer." while he puts on an annoyed look on his face staring at jasmine on the other end of the couch, she waves back to him with a big grin.
Chris tries to make delorean tell her something about him also, delorean answer back with "I love pep-pouncer and the work she does for our community!" leaving jasmine blank in the eyes as she stares at him with awkward silence until she finally answer back with a "OH.. I hate that girl, she's annoying, she's not a real hero like some of the other heroes!" Which surprises delorean as he takes his mind off her, delorean gets serious with his answer and tells her "I love coffee", jasmine answers back with "I LOVE COFFEE TOO, another thing we have in common delorean!" Yet he ignores her and just goes back to watching TV with his arms crossed like he always do when the two hangout together.
Chris tells jasmine "So.. what about your boyfriend?" Which makes her answer "Ugh, I'd rather not talk about it, we broke up a little while ago, he was too controlling and i felt like he loved his robots more than me, he was a stupid jerk!" then, all of a sudden, a news reporting of a mutant monster pops up on the news as delorean was flipping through channels, a man in a robot suit is revealed to be fighting the mutant dinosaur-ish beast off causing little damage to the surroundings.
The news anchor reporting the attack says the attacks goes in a certain pattern as told to her by some agents there on the scene who's also trying to contain the beast while the hero fights him off. Chris then says "I never noticed it before, but the city really does need superheroes or heroes atleast, random strings of suicides and robberies and murders and thugs and gangsters running the street, morning and night, some crazy mess in this city". Delorean then replies to chris saying "We need a brutal bullet proof vigilante to save this city, we need a brutal hero for this city's crime doers to get destroyed by for good!"
The other two, chris and jasmine, then stares at delorean while delorean just says to them both "it worked for characters in my comic books, i don't know man, they're good comics too!" Chris just facepalms.
Chris then take delorean upstairs and asks jasmine to stay on the couch, tells her they'll be back down in a second, delorean asks chris "WHY DID YOU BRING ME UP HERE??" With the answer from Chris being "Why don't you just ask her out dude, huh?" After a little bit of trying to change the subject and beading around the bush, the truth comes out to why, he tells chris, "Because i have a social problem, ok?" then chris ask delorean to tell him a little more, that's not a good answer as to why, and delorean gets in deep and answers to his friend that's like his brother, "Because I'm nervous around girls, I'm a damn nerd OK, I spent all my time studying instead of getting out there in the world, when my mom died and my dad became a dumbass, they had took me from my family until my grandma came and got me before i got adopted.
She's the only family I've known and to take my mind away from all of that, i got deeply and heavily into science."
Chris answers back while crying a little replying "I've never known that about you, this is strange for me since you've never spoken your feelings out to anyone including me, ok, you don't have to ask her out, forget me bro!"
Delorean crying a little too while sparking on a lower level answers back with, "NO!... You're right, I'm 16 now, it's time for me to grow the hell up, I'm done with being a virgin!"
"I'm asking her out tonight, forget my romance density, atleast I'll try!"
The two boys get excited a little since it's time for delorean to grow up like chris and finally get his first girlfriend, chris had many, but delorean never had one.
The boys go back downstairs and delorean stutters a little as he kind of don't want to do it, but eventually, he asks Jasmine out and includes in "since you don't have a boyfriend anymore and you seem over him" and then jasmine jumps up for joy yelling "YES" and kisses delorean on the cheek, delorean's combat training kicks in a little as his reflexes pushes jasmine off him and onto the couch right beside them, delorean makes up a quick weird excuse to jasmine stating, "Oh, you know how i said i love coffee, sometimes it gives me the shakes and makes my body lose control a little bit... and that's why i pushed you off me..." and amazingly, jasmine just goes with it and they schedule a date for the upcoming jetterfield high homecoming dance.
She only worries to herself that he may be there and she knows how petty and jealous he can be usually.
Once delorean gets home, delorean calls his uncle, who owns a huge corporation, about the date and his uncle offers to pay for anything delorean needs then says, "My little nerd nephew is growing up!"
"TELL the girl "hi" tell her to treat you right for me!" With delorean answering, "I will, and the dance is in a couple of months!" Then delorean hangs up and goes off to bed.
