Slade's Pov(The next day)

A horn woke everyone up, then a speaker said " Get ready, we're almost at the school" I thought we were going to be there at 11? I looked at the clock, 10:25?! Jeez, I really did have a good sleep. I noticed that some of the boys were just waking up. I hurriedly grabbed my uniform and went into the bathroom to change and do my morning routine.

After I was finished, I walked out into the room connecting the two bedrooms to see Ivy, Stella  and Calcifer there chatting.

"Good morning." I greeted them, Ivy and Stella smiled while Calcifer just mumbled a quiet morning. We chatted for a while until everyone else came out in their uniform.

After we had a light snack, according to the older kids we were going to have a feast after our sorting, we decided to go onto the deck and see what was going on. The deck was not even half filled, there was only around 25 students on the middle deck, 13 on the right and 17 on the left. We stood near the edge by the fence, everyone else just chatted whilst Calcifer and I decided to go on the left side of the deck and chat by ourselves.

"The ocean is beautiful" I said as the beautiful oceanic waves crashed against the ship.

"It's also very deadly" Calcifer replied, "A amazing but horrific combination"

"Yeah"

"So, your a Pure-blood?"

"Yes I am, are you?" I asked, he nodded in reply. "Do you have any family members or friends missing you?" After I asked, his face looked like he was lost in his own mind. His eyes looked they were were about to shed a waterfall.

"I am indeed a pureblood but no, my family kind of forgotten about me and I don't have any friends except you and everyone else" He replied, pointing to the others. Splat Splat. I noticed tears were running down his face, I quickly hugged him trying to get him to calm down. It worked for me when I was younger. I felt his arms wrap around me as he continued to cry. The others came running over and asked what was wrong, I told them. And before we knew it, we all told eachother about our home lives. Some of us clutching onto another one of us, crying. I guess we are all misfits and mistreated.

"We are arriving at the school in five minutes, please leave all of your things in your rooms and arrive to the deck. Thank you" A feminine voice said through the speaker, all of us trying to get rid of our red puffy eyes as more students filled the decks.

As the ship pulled up to the docks, we walked up to this path and found carriages waiting for us.

"Wow, the school looks amazing!" Ivy said as we all stared at the school. It was massive!!

"First years, follow me" Professor Moon said, he led us into the gigantic room, fire-lit lights floated above the room. Four different tables and a what seemed a teacher table to the right side of the hall.

"I will call your name up and then you will put both of hands out and let your magic go freely over these four bowls. Whatever house you get, you will take a crystal from that bowl and it will become a peice of jewelry or well whatever you would like it to be. Your house name will appear above the symbol of the JadeVine after the sorting ceremony." Professor Moon said as he looked at us first years.
