Students eating breakfast, chatter filled the grand hall, smiles on their faces, owls swooping in with letters. This day would be good or atleast a bit more normal. Slade and Calcifer came in, gaining all of their friends attention who were at the bloodstone table because it isn't against the rules.

"Hello." Slade said he sat down next to Aaron and Calcifer

"Hi." Harry replied

"Morning." Savannah mumbled as she ate some bacon.

"Hey." Mar said

"Good morning." Ivy said with her hand over her mouth as she ate some food.

"Hello." Sam said.

"Bonjour." Stella said.

"Hi. How are you now?" Aaron asked.

"Better." Slade replied, grabbing a peice of toast. "The nurse said to only go to half my classes today and to tell you that you can't have half a day off and have to go to all lessons."

"He told us yesterday." Stella said as she finished her breakfast. "What do you guys have first? I have Flying. "

"I also have Flying." Harry replied.

"Cooking." Ivy stated.

"Ancient Runes." Mar said.

"Transfiguration." Calcifer and Sam said

"Creature talk." Slade stated.

"Light arts." Aaron and Savannah said. They talked about their lessons and finished their breakfast. Miss Rose eyes never left them, it seemed strange to the ones who noticed. Stella couldn't help but stare back at her, it seemed like Miss Rose had recognised them or something.

They waved goodbye as the bell rang, a shout from Miss Rose telling them to come to her office at lunch time caused whispers to begin in the hall. They separated as they walked different directions to their classes.

Flying was easy to Stella and Harry, it seemed natural and easy. The broom was in their hands straight away and they were the most elegant and fastest in their class, well that was according to their professor.

Cooking was also easy, but then again it all depends on what you make and how much time you have to make it; majority of the time, they only had an hour. Ivy was a great cook, and was tied-third with three other students.

Ancient Runes was a hard subject, but was still very interesting to Mar. The way the professor taught it, sometimes made it easier or harder to understand. Mar was around average in Ancient Runes but then again it was a difficult subject.

Transfiguration was neither hard nor easy, like Ancient Runes it depends on what they were learning and how the professor taught it. Since they were first years, they learnt the more easier stuff and then learnt the harder theories. Calcifer was better than average, whilst Sam was around average.

Creature Talk was a difficult subject since you have to get the correct pronunciation or else you'll offend that species. Some species also have to make you do certain thing, like a bow or a curtesy (Spelling?) etc. Even though it was very difficult to get the correct pronunciation every time, it was interesting and enjoyable for Slade.

Light arts wasn't very different from Dark arts, they just used spells that were considered light by the ministry.
The light spells did contain offensive and defensive spells, but they were different from the dark arts spells as they didn't do much/barley any damage. Aaron and Savannah enjoyed it though since they still got to fight eachother and prove who's stronger.

Eventually lunch came around and they went to Miss Rose's office, which took some time due to how big the school is.

"There you are, I was wondering when you would arrive." Miss Rose said as her face lit up, her smile didn't match her eyes. Her eyes seemed red and puffy like she had been crying but they didn't want to push her so they didn't say anything about it.

"Are we in trouble miss?"Ivy asked.

"No, no. Not at the moment. I called because I have to tell you something." Miss rose replied studying their faces, they all seemed blank but their eyes hid emotions she couldn't read.

"You lot have powers."
