The Letters Pt.2

Ivy's Pov (Still the same day)

It's 2pm, I was reading how to kill a mockingbird; it's a really good book, when a tap tap came from the window in the kitchen. I tiptoed, knowing mother was having her afternoon nap.

"An owl? Strange" I said to the thin air, I opened the window as the owl gave me a letter. "Owl's deliver things?" I asked marvelled.

JadeVine School For The Forgotten

Dear Ivy Night,

I am happy to inform you that you've been accepted into JadeVine School For The Forgotten. Your a witch; An amazing one in fact. You've been accepted because after your parents found put you were gay they took out of school and made you do chores and now have Forgotten about you, am I right?. Well in this school we accept all kinds of students. So don't worry.

Term starts on the 10th of December, all equipment you need is on the back of this letter. Please let us know if you'll be coming to this school by the 4th of September. Please arrive at the London docks at noon on the 9th of September. Oh and go to the leaky cauldron and order a coke with a hint of butterbeer and the bartender will show you diagon alley.

"I'm a witch? How come my parents never told me?" I questioned myself.
I quietly walked out of the front door and sprinted all the way to the train station.

"Coke with a hint of butterbeer" I ordered like the letter said to.

"JadeVine?" He asked, I nodded. "Follow me"

"Am I not having my order?" I said.

"I suppose you can, not many people actually have it since it's a code" he chuckled.

"What is butterbeer?" I asked as he was making it.

"A liquid" he says as I drank the whole thing in one.

"Alright, now follow me" he lead me to a brick wall, then started to tap the bricks. I thanked him as I walked into diagon alley. I looked around the different shops before heading into a a shop called Madam Malkin's robes for all occasions. I decided to sit on a sofa since there was a long queue.

Slade's Pov

2:30pm, and I'm practising Fencing with the a dummy on the top floor of my house. No one, except me, goes up here because this is well my room. The top floor only has two rooms; my room and a small bathroom. I get food from my mini fridge, it's mostly microwave food; I luckily have a microwave. I was about to strike the dummy when a tap tap came from the small window. I opened the window only to be greeted by an owl dropping a letter and flying off.

(I'm not going to write out the letters anymore, sorry)

"May I have a coke with a hint of butterbeer" I asked the bartender.

"JadeVine?" He replied, I nodded.

"Follow me" He then led me to a brick wall and tapped some bricks to reavel a road with shops either side. It was absolutely magnificent. I stared at the letter wondering what to get first, I'll go to Madam Malkin's Robes For All Occasions.

I walked through the crowded alley, trying not to get pushed around but failed. As I walked through the door of the shop, I was hit with warmth, it seemed busier here than out there. I sat next to girl, who looked around my age.

"Hello" I said

"Hi" She replied

"I'm Slade, what's your name?" I asked

"Ivy" She answered.

"Friends?"

"Friends."

"What school are you going to? I'm going to JadeVine" I explained. She stared at me in surprise.

"I'm going there too!" She exclaimed.

"Awesome! By the way do you know why we're going to the London docks?" I inquired.

"Maybe it's a meeting point or we're going on a boat to get there?"

"Next" A loud female voice said. We both went up since we're going to the same school. "School?" the lady asked.

"JadeVine" we replied. She nodded and did a sign that says follow me. We followed her into the back. We walked out after we got our uniform and payed for it, deciding to get our familiars since we would like to find out what creatures they are.

Calcifer's Pov

It was currently 3pm and I was in my room eating some sweets I took from the cabinet. I'm so bored, I layed down on my bed when a hoot hoot came from the window. A owl? The owl dropped the letter and flew off before I got a chance to stroke it, it must have lots of letters to deliver.

(Again, I'm not writing the letters out, I'm sorry)

Time to finally  get out of here, I slowly climbed out of the window being careful to not be seen by my 'family'. I ran to the kitchen and use the floo system.

"Diagon Alley" I said clearly throwing the floo at the fireplace. I was greeted by the loud chattering and yelling. I looked at the list deciding where to go since I already have the uniform, how about the familiar shop. I've been wandering what my familiar or familiars are.

The shop was filled with different types of noises, I slowly walked to the desk looking at all the different animals.

"Hello, how may I help you" A male voice said.

"I'm looking for my familiars"

"Okay, just let your magic be free and see where it leads you" The male said as I did so. I felt my magic pull towards the east side of the shop; I followed it until it stopped to reveal a snow bunny I slowly picked it up and then suddenly felt another pull. Obviously, I followed it and it lead me to a freezing bit of the shop then it stopped; it revealed a arctic fox. They were both so cute!!

"How much?" I asked.

"They're free since they are your familiars" The man explained, I nodded and thanked him. I bought all the things my familiars needed and what I wanted to get.

"They need a name. I'll think about it after I've done shopping." I whispered to myself and I walked out of the shop door and into the busy alley.
