"Who's E.S?" Ivy asked.

"I don't know." The other two replied.

Hours went by as they sat trying to find out what or who E.S was? Were they or it something or someone to fear. Were they someone to trust?
So many questions but no answers.

"What did Immy say before she as she kind of died again?" Savannah asked. "Perhaps there's a clue."

"She said: Swapped. Alone. You. They. Emerald. Scars." Sam replied.

"E.S, perhaps a group for signalling they or a non-binary person. Maybe they want you to be alone. Swapped, swapped places, times, faces? Emerald, perhaps their eye colour, hair colour? A colour of their gang symbol? Scars? Maybe that you'll have scars to show that they made you bleed." Ivy said.

"We need to get to our lesson with Miss Rose." Aaron told them, looking at the time. The others nodded as they went to the headmistress' office.

"Right on time." Miss rose smiled as they walked in. "Right this way."

"You are going to try and control your powers. You'll be in pairs. Ivy and Savannah, Stella and Calcifer, Harry and Slade, Sam and Aaron, Mar and I." Miss Rose said.

As the lesson went by, all of them managed to get some control over their powers. It was lucky that some of them had opposite powers to one of the others, which could be helpful in some cases.

"That was a good lesson. Alright off you go" Miss Rose told them but as they were about to leave. A peice of paper fell onto the floor, Miss Rose being generous decided to pick it up for them. But as she noticed a name seeming familiar, E.S...

"Why do you have this note?" Miss Rose asked. All of them turned to see the note in her hands.

"Someone sent it to us. Do you know who E.S is miss?" Harry asked

"Someone you lot shouldn't mess with. If you get another letter like this, give it to me immediately. You understand?" Miss Rose said sternly, all of them nodded in surprise. "Now off you go and don't mention this to any other students, you understand?"

With another nod, they hurried off out the room still confused.

A question still on their minds.

'Who is E.S?'

Meanwhile Miss Rose ordered a meeting with all of the professors
She slammed the note down on the table, each professor had a shocked expression on their faces.

"This note was given to a couple of the students I'm teaching to control their powers as you are aware. They are the only first-years with powers, almost the only students with powers. After someone who was supposed to be dead came out of nowhere and then disappeared leaving the note." Miss Rose said pacing, and thinking hard.

"What is E.S planning, and who is E.S." A Professor asked.

"We do not know what E.S is planning. And their identity can not be revealed to anyone, not even the professors as it will cause panic and they will know." Miss Rose answered, shocking the professors. How could E.S know?

"For now, all notes that are similar to this and are addressed to the students I was speaking about earlier shall be given to me immediately." Miss Rose stated.

All the Professor's nodded in agreement with all of this, as the room emptied. A question on their minds.

'Who is E.S and what are they planning?'

'Emerald Scars' Miss Rose thought, 'What are you planning?'
