A/N: The rest of the story will be in 3rd pov.

It's been weeks now, they have started going to their classes more often but they're not engaged. They feel lost but they have gotten closer to Sam. Sam comes with them to the hospital wing sometimes but mostly she spends it playing quidditch or in the library.

Slade hasn't changed at all, he's still asleep. His face showing no emotion, it was almost like he was dead but they knew he wasn't, he couldn't be.

As days passed, Slade could hear but couldn't see or talk. He listened to when some of his friends were alone because they had a free period and no one else did, he listened and wanted to wake up. He tried moving but nothing worked, he listened to every heart-breaking speech or sob, he listened as they refused to believe he was dead. He heard that if he doesn't wake up or give a sign of life, he will be put to sleep permanently.

As his friends came in, he listen to them speak. Until everyone was done, he made his face give a small smile as he felt his life return to him, his eyes slightly opening.

"Your alive!" The others screamed, all hugging him.

"Na-h, jus-t a gh-ost." He managed to say, as each told him he's an idiot.

"Oh I'm sam, by the way." A person said.

"Nice to meet you."

"Go get the nurse!" Harry told Mar, who ran to get the nurse. The two coming back nearly instantly.

"How do you feel?" The nurse asked.

"Alive, and better. I only have a headache." He replied, which caused smiles in everyone's faces.

"Good to hear, I'll run a few tests then you will go back to your dormitories and rest." The nurse told Slade.

"Okay."

The nurse ran a few tests, checking his heartbeat and to see if there is any brain damage to his brain which there was none. "Your good to go."

The children immediately left and headed to the bloodstone tower to get Slade to rest.

All knowing that he is going to be okay now, and they're all going to be alright... For Now.
